Hotel Valencia Center

The biggest issue was the air conditioning. It simply did not cool the room. We called the reception, and a technician came, but he insisted everything was working properly and told us to wait. Unfortunately, the room temperature never went below 27°C, making it hot, stuffy, and uncomfortable throughout our stay. Because of this, we checked out at 9:00 a.m. instead of our planned 3:00 p.m.

Our room was at the end of the corridor, where the carpet had several visible stains. The bathroom showed clear signs of age, with rust and cosmetic repairs that did not hide the overall worn condition. Overall, the hotel feels outdated and would benefit from renovation.

Had high hopes for this hotel but was so disappointed when we arrived. The room was musty and dated and didn't feel fully clean. Everything is dark wood and there's so much furniture it feels crowded, even when the room is quite big in size.
The bath was boxed in so to get out the shower, we had to open the screen door to be able to step between the toilet and the bidet. Felt very claustrophobic.
The air con in the room is poor and even when we lowered the temperature it didnt seem to make a difference.

The pool is not big enough to swim in, which is fine but the pictures are deceiving. There's also nowhere to sit near the pool, it is just a pool and a tiny gym.

The location was ok, but still some distance from the beach and the city centre. We ended up booking day passes for a pool near the beach because we felt the hotel was lacking somewhere to fully relax.

I think the photos for this hotel are deceiving and I think the fact that it is 4* is also deceiving. It might have been, back in the day, but it certainly isn’t worthy of 4* nowadays and a 3 would probably be generous.

The location is adjacent to the park and aquarium which may suit families/groups perfectly. We loved being close to the park and walked in along it to the old town each day which was beautiful. But there aren’t too many restaurants/bars in the area itself so it’s not as lively as being in the heart of the old town. For us, it was ok but I would possibly have liked having more food/nightlife options in the evenings. But the positive flip side is that the hotel is super quiet.

El acceso al parking es muy estrecho y resulta complicado maniobrar. La habitación no estaba bien limpia; de hecho, encontramos restos de ropa interior dentro de un cajón del armario, algo que nos pareció totalmente inaceptable.
Además, contratamos pensión completa y nos sorprendió que las bebidas no estuvieran incluidas, teniendo que pagarlas aparte en todas las comidas y cenas. El menú era exactamente el mismo tanto para comer como para cenar todos los días, por lo que terminó siendo muy repetitivo.
Lo peor ocurrió una mañana, cuando una limpiadora entró en nuestra habitación a las 8:30 mientras todavía estábamos dentro. Accedió directamente con la tarjeta, sin llamar previamente. Le dijimos que no queríamos limpieza y, al salir a desayunar, dejamos el cartel de "No molestar" en la puerta. A nuestra vuelta, el cartel había desaparecido, la habitación había sido limpiada igualmente y habían tirado un papel con unas notas personales que teníamos.
Fuimos inmediatamente a recepción para comunicar lo sucedido. Nos dijeron que lo trasladarían, pero durante el resto de nuestra estancia nadie volvió a ponerse en contacto con nosotras. No recibimos ninguna explicación, ninguna disculpa por parte de la dirección ni ningún tipo de compensación.
Es una pena, porque la buena atención del personal del restaurante y la calidad de la comida no compensan la falta de limpieza, la escasa privacidad y la mala gestión de una incidencia tan grave. No volveríamos a alojarnos en este hotel y, lamentablemente, no podemos recomendarlo.

El personal súper desagradable , tuvimos un problema con la entrada que la teníamos el sábado , y al llegar el domingo por la mañana no nos querían dar la habitación después de pagar 500€ de una noche , nunca habíamos tenido una experiencia tan desagradable
