Great hotel for a city break
Pros:

Great location - walkable to the aquarium and museums. Restaurants and shops plentiful nearby. Nice hotel, good size room, comfy beds and good linen. Lovely breakfast, plenty of options and dinner good (we had half board) which was great value and saved money. Restaurant open to
11pm which was great flexibility. The pool is great to cool off but you can’t swim in it.

Cons:

You can walk into the old town via the park if you’re reasonably fit but it’s quite a distance but there’s the No 19 bus stop outside which takes you to the beach or into town. Or Ubers excellent and reasonable.

Generally a good experience
Pros:

Very convenient location. Friendly staff but not always helpful

Cons:

The rooms were not cleaned properly- beds were made and bath and basin cleaned but area around basin not wiped, glasses not washed, items that should have been binned- fruit peels left in a saucer just left- room not swept on second day, room generally not tidied. No coffee/tea service in the room. It was ridiculous to pay €11 for a coffee to be delivered to the room when a full breakfast cost €16.

Pros:

The location, the staff were friendly

Cons:

The room was a bit cramped for 3, the cleaning was not great - dust and hairs in lots of areas, maintenance needed in some areas as do some areas look dated

Good escape
Pros:

Great location, with good breakfast and dinner. The room has a good size, cleaned and the staff was nice.

Cons:

Pool is a little bit small (good for a quick dive after a sunny day).
Bath tub can be a little bit high for small people and the glass was short, so the water went to the floor.

Pros:

The location was very good. The city of science a short walk and the park. Plenty of restaurants near by and shopping centres. Also the number 19 bus stopped right outside and took us to the old town/city or cross the road and head for the beach.

Cons:

There was nothing not to like. A lovely comfortable hotel. Breakfast had enough choices for everyone. Rooms clean and staff very helpful. Sara even walked with us to the local shop so we could buy our bus tickets. A very kind lady.

clean room every day. Clean sheets and towels. Bed really great and big.

Food disaster!!!
Breakfast was ok, but every day the same, everyyyy. So for 6 nights very difficult to endure. Our baby the last day did not want to eat, he was hungry but, could not eat the same food.

And lunch and dinner. What to say. Really not eadible. I can eat anythig really, but it was disaster. Our baby adores brokoli, brokoli we got was not eadible. So after 3 days we cancel it, and they returned money. We could not eat the same lunch and same dinner in one day. Desert was ok and some starters was ok. Main meal disaster, no meat. Again eggs like on breakfast.

And stuff at lunch area. They were professional, but the atmosphere was like they hated us, very unpleasant. They can hate us, but their job is to be pleasant. So they really ruined our stay there.

We were with the baby. They behaved like there is no baby. Every time I had to say I need plate so I can share food with the baby. What they thought baby would eat and how?! Baby needed its plate. So they were not baby friendly.

So my suggestion, take the hotel but no food, even no breakfast, since there is like zilion restaurants neer the hotel. Like 10 meters.
