Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Kelowna Airport

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Kelowna in mid-December, before and after a trip to Mexico. I was able to leave my car in their fenced parking lot while I was away.

I used to stay at another hotel further from the airport, but they have gone downhill, charging for the airport shuttle, reducing the quality of their included breakfast, and the property was getting quite run down. This year I decided to try somewhere else, and I’m so glad I did. The Hampton is much better and the price, after factoring in the cost of a cab or Uber to the airport, is almost the same.

The hotel is quite new and is very bright and spacious. Check-in was quick and easy. I was provided with all pertinent information without having to ask. The room was clean and bright and the bed was very comfortable. One aspect I really enjoyed was the heating/cooling. I like the room to be quite cool at night, which is often hard to accomplish. The thermostat was easy to use and the room cooled down quickly. When I got up in the morning I turned up the heat and the room was toasty warm in no time.

My flight out was early, so the breakfast buffet was not open, but they offered me a bagged breakfast to go. The included free shuttle arrived on time and the driver was very polite. The trip to the airport takes less than 5 minutes. On my return (at midnight), I just had to call the hotel to request the shuttle and it was there in minutes.

I was able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast after my return. It was varied and delicious, with eggs, sausage, waffles, bread, pastries, cereal, fruit and more. Checkout was a breeze and I retrieved my car and was on my way.

I will definitely stay at the Hampton Inn in the future.

This property is consistently great. Clean. Quiet. Convenient. Restaurant next door, lovely.

It was an unexpected stay due to the last minute flight cancellation. Booked this hotel at the airport just before midnight. Great shuttle service and simple decent breakfast. Rooms are great. Staff are very friendly.

Our stay was amazing, the staff were great. There was a good restaurant just across the parking lot if you didn’t wish to drive anywhere, the free breakfast was great. Parking was free and easy. Central location for our trip requirements. The only small comment I would have is I prefer a softer bed and perhaps a bit firmer pillows.

Good that it is close to the airport.
Probably the district is still fairly new and the bus service may not be too convenient. I would say it takes time to further develop. Overall the hotel and the places nearby provide a comfortable environment.

Very convenient for airport

I visited Kelowna for a funeral and recently stayed Hampton Inn Kelowna Airport. The lady that checked us (Dianne) in was absolutely fantastic! She was there the next day, extended our check out time and arranged for shuttle to take us to RF Aerospace for our funeral service. Signed me up for Hilton Honors and explained the benefits of the program. She told us about the amenities in the hotel and sister hotels. The room was perfect and the free breakfast was great also. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Kelowna. The employees are gems.
