Holiday Inn - Richland/Kennewick
Pros:

The hotel is very comfortable, clean, & close to shops as well (the mall, Costco, WinCo, and the AMC movie theater). The pool was my favorite. Aside from the fact that it’s 24 hours it can also be both indoors & outdoors. I can’t imagine how nice that gets in the summer time.

This place was great. From the breakfast to the warm cookies and cold milk. I did notice in the hot tub there was green mildew around the filter area. But other than that the place was a great place to stay.

When you enter the hotel it has a bad smell, it also didn’t help that someone was smoking in the building. Our room had mold on the bathroom ceiling. Within 5 min of our stay we checked out and found another hotel to stay at.

Nice view of the columbia river basin. We could see the river but the more beautiful part of the view was the sunset and city lights. Service was really great and breakfast staff was friendly and helpful too. My kids and the adults all enjoyed breakfast, and the pool was probably one of the best hotel pools I have experienced outside of Disney and Great Wolf Lodge. No slide, etc of course, but beautiful environment with real granite boulders and healthy! Tropical plants made it feel so peaceful, and well maintained. The only con we experienced was our bathroom fan did not work, but we left a note at the front desk and they were grateful for the information. No bad interactions with employees whatsoever! When we pass through again, we'll stay here!

Pros:

We decided to stay an extra day in the area and booked this on short notice.
The staff was nice and the room was also. Comfortable beds, clean and quiet.
Breakfast was good.
We have often had good stays at the Holiday Inn Express.
Loved the cookies and milk at checkin
