Budget Hotel in älteren Gebäude, etwas old fashioned, aber dank zentraler Lage zu empfehlen.

Habitaciones amplias y excelente ubicación
Pros:

Ubicación excelente, muy céntrica. Habitaciones muy amplias con cama grande y cómoda. El salón del desayuno es agradable y luminoso. El desayuno estaba bien, sin lujos pero correcto. La calefacción y el agua caliente funcionaban muy bien. Las instalaciones estaban limpias.

Cons:

Detalles menores. No está muy aislado el ruido de la calle o de otras habitaciones. No hay ascensor directo a la recepción, hay o que subir o bajar unas escaleras. No hay zonas comunes o un área donde poder estar si esperas a alguien.

Week-end dans une belle ville belge
Pros:

La chambre que nous avons reçu sur l'arrière du bâtiment était au calme ( comme demandé ) le petit-déjeuner était très bien et l'emplacement de l'hôtel central, près des magasins, des restaurants, de magnifiques bâtiments .... , le personnel très sympathique.

rien, tout était dans nos attentes.

Volkomen overschaduwd door een onbruikbare badkamer en onheuse behandeling door receptiemedreerkster.

Schone kamer. Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar goed. .

Cons:

Er was geen warm water. Toen ik dat bij het uitchecken ter receptie meldde en voorzichtig aangaf dat ik dat graag van te voren geweten had kreeg ik te horen dat zij daar niet aan kon beginnen, omdat er in het hotel met elke kamer wel iets mis is. (NB Deze receptioniste had mij ook ingecheckt!). Van de allervriendelijkste dame die het ontbijt verzorgde had ik begrepen dat het ontbreken van warm water een bekend probleem was en dat je je de kraan heel lang moet laten lopen. Ik heb mij niet behoorlijk kunnen wassen. Ik voel mij echt onheus behandeld.
Ik kom sinds 1981 in Leuven. Heb er toen een academiejaar lang gewerkt. Heb veel hotels gezien in alle jaren sindsdien. Dit was, vooral ook in de bejegening, onleuvens.

Fijne uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van Leuven.
Pros:

Fijn basic hotel. Goeie locatie, alles op loopafstand. Prima ontbijt verder! Alleen als je, zoals wij, aan de straatkant verbleef had je wel (veel) last van het lawaai (verkeer, etc.) buiten. 's Nachts met het raam (deels) open kon in ons geval niet. Verder was het zeer fijn dat we op de dag van het vertrek al onze koffers zo lang nog bij de receptie mochten laten staan om de stad nog te verkennen.

Cons:

Toch wel het lawaai van de straat, maar goed daar kan het hotel niet echt iets aan doen en bovendien wisten we dat we midden in het centrum zouden zitten. Verder een tip qua ontbijt: voor vegetariërs zou het fijn zijn als er in de scrambled egg geen spekjes zouden zitten (of deze apart aanbieden).

Apesar de existir elevador, o meu quarto estava localizado num piso intermédio, obrigando-me a transportar a mala numa escada estreita com cerca de 10 degraus.
