It was an experience.
Pros:

It had a retro vibe which was nice, but the room was just a basic standard room.

Cons:

We were over charged for the beverages that were provided for a fee. We only drank 1 bottle of water and was charged for more than 1. It was not worth the time or effort to argue about it.

Very happy with modern motel.
Pros:

This is located near several cafes, restaurants, and there's an organic grocery store nearby. I liked the retro feel of the property, it was like a high-end motel. Plenty of room amenities like bathrobes and shower supplies. Very clean! There's also a little cafe in the lobby.

Cons:

No complaints. The bar could have been open later (closes at 10pm), but that's not really a big deal.

Great location, very clean. But don't try to extend your stay for one night.
Pros:

This was a good hotel. Great location, very clean. Comfortable. Not too much else to say. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood.

Cons:

We liked this place and wanted to extend our stay for one night. However, the staff did not want to do it and sent us to the 3rd party online site, which requested a minimum 2-night stay or approval from the hotel. We would've accepted a simple quick no from the staff.
