I booked this very budget hotel as a stopover on a longer road trip knowing I didnt want to spend a lot of money. The main issue I had with the property was that the room was not kept air conditioned until I checked in, so that upon entering it was very hot and musty smelling. I asked to change rooms, but got the idea that this was just standard practice. Luckily, by the time I got back from grabbing something to eat, the room was cooled down and the desk clerk had sprayed some kind of freshener.
Other than this, the room was clean, the linens a bit sparse, but serviceable.
The room had a funny smell when we first arrived, but we just dropped our bags, when returning that night about 11 PM and finding dead cockroaches in the room I realize the smell was from bug spray. My son refused to stay there. He ended up going back to my daughter’s apartment and sleeping on the floor because of being creeped out by roaches in the room. Upon telling the hotel they told me sorry hopefully it would be better next time. Next time? You kidding
The property is very old and outdated with a smell like mold or water leak, was not able to sleep all night due to the smell an old blankets
Property is updated but still a bit worn. Easy fixes - the ratty chair at the table - should be addressed. Safe, clean, inexpensive spot.
A good reasonable hotel for the stay.
I booked a large king bed but got two full size but all good. Did not matter lol it was super quiet but easy to locate and get to
I liked the stay but when I checked out there was no one there to help me the door was locked and a sign that said put your key in the drop box I think at 8;00 am there should have been somebody there to check you out
The property is clean inside and around the hotel, the staff is friendly and helpful. If you’re headed to UF, it’s 5 minutes away, really convenient. If you’re looking for a good dinner spot - Seoul Pocha is great right next door. So, overall a great experience.
It was perfect for what we needed which was a place to sleep. Clean, no frills, inexpensive.
Room keys didn’t work initially
Only one towel provided
Nice place.
Was a non smoking room that smelled like old cigarettes
Room was clean and quiet. No complaints
It was convenient and safe
didn’t like the cleanness of the rooms
Thank you for the great stay
Quick and easy check in, but the room was dirty on the floor and bathroom and smelled strongly of cigarette smoking.
When I checked into the hotel it was slow and once I tried my key it did not work. My room had a foul smell to it. And every day I had to get my key re aligned. I would never recommend or stay in this again.
Comfortable stay, clean and up to date.
I like the location and price, but room doesn’t smell good
