La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Meridian

I was impressed with how helpful housekeeping was in helping me with my laundry. The guest dryer was out of order, and after I verified that, they offered me the use of housekeeping’s laundry area to dry my clothes after I washed them in the guest washer. Although I had to wait until they had finished washing and drying sheets and towels. So I thought they were very kind.

Very clean room. Stayed in a king suite. Spacious, excellent house keeping, kept the bed made, trash taken and towels refreshed each day. Front desk staff could not have been nicer.

The pool is ok. It is covered (indoor), but not heated. It is suitable on a hot summer day, but not luxury.

There is a breakfast provided, but 3 stars at most. Edible, but it's minimal.

The property itself is very clean and it's in a good location compared to interstate and main retail areas in the city.

Very friendly staff. Well lit parking lot. Good variety of breakfast selections.

The shower was horribly stained and the shower head was not working properly my showers are very important to me.

We felt like this should have been an average hotel but it fell short of that mark. The bathroom felt a little dirty and the pool area was questionable. I would rather pay more for a nicer and better experience than this.

We will not stay at any La Quinta again.

Staff and facility were very nice. Kept hearing loud music and every time I walked out there were several groups either playing loud music, drinking and smoking by the front entrance.

We were in room 102. The hotel itself was very clean and inviting. The room was nice and clean upon our arrival. The beds were very comfortable and the ac was nice and cold. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The pool area is not indoors per se, but it is in an atrium which is quite hot during the day. The water for both the pool and the hot tub were a little cloudy but other than that, it was very relaxing. The breakfast was small but nice and the lady running things did a great job of keeping everything stocked. They had scrambled eggs, sausages, and boiled eggs. They also had fresh fruits, yogurt, cereal, toast, and packaged pastries as well as a waffle maker. The breakfast area is nice and big. They had a nice fitness room also. The only negative thing i can say is that there were a lot of people just hanging out in the parking lot around 10pm which was a little uncomfortable for my family. Overall though, it was a very nice stay.

The facilities and the staff themselves were wonderful, however we specifically booked this hotel because of the pool , but didn’t feel comfortable do to a large group using foul language, playing loud music . Around 10pm just as my family and I were laying down to sleep, there was a loud, violent argument in the room across the hall, that spilled into the hallway outside our room. It sounded like several individuals. One of my children has special needs and was terrified. The fight then went outside. We were on the 3rd floor and could still hear everything. The police were called. Suffice it to say, we did not sleep at all and now have a 9 hour drive on 2 hours of sleep. I know the hotel cannot control its patrons, this was just horrible.

We checked in late due to driving. Had put notes with booking that we would like a rollaway and would be checking in after midnight. Us and our two 18 year old boys and a 3 year old. We got the bigger room so we could relax since we are on a long drive. No roll away and 2 very nice televisions but not a remote for either. Finally got one to work after a trip to front desk, as we couldn’t reach them by phone in room. The room was very nice otherwise. Some caulking in bathroom was not nice to look at but beds and pillows were comfy, never did get a roll away. Breakfast was good and the morning crew was VERY friendly and helpful! One of our boys came down at 9:35 and the breakfast attendant asked if he was finished before putting stuff up, so nice of her!
