Staff are fantastic but hotel needs some TLC
Pros:

We stayed here with family at the end of May. Parking was available on site and the initial impression was that of a standard holiday inn. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, especially Sam, he couldn't do enough for us from recommendations to assisting with parking, he was brilliant!

The rooms were small but for a one night stay it was fine. The air conditioning in our room didn't work and the most the staff could offer was a fan (2 in fact) but this wasn't their fault they did the best they could.

There was a smell of damp carpet in the stairwell of the lower floor which wasn't easy to ignore but this didn't affect the corridors or rooms.

Breakfast was ok, pretty standard for a holiday inn with hot food, cereals, pastries, coffee etc on offer.

Overall a decent stay and did the job for a short trip but the company needs to make some investment into this hotel! Rooms, decor, reception area etc. The staff are doing a fantastic job, please give them the facilities and the upgrade they deserve!

Probably one of the dirtiest hotels I have stayed in a long time, the room was tired, on the ground floor next to a car park that probably had 20 cans of helium on the floor. Felt unsafe and could not be moved as they said the rooms were fully booked
