The Montreux Jazz Festival will take place and will be during the 2 first weeks of July (exact dates to be checked on their website). During this period, in the evenings car access might be difficult and some noise is also to be expected.

We would like to inform you that the 2m2c Montreux Music & Convention Center, located near the Royal Plaza Montreux, is under reconstruction. Please note that some phases of the work may cause noise disturbance, but only during the day, excluding weekends and public holidays. We would also like to draw your attention to the fact that the Vernex Park (located between the 2m2c and the hotel) is currently occupied for this renovation work, which may alter the usual visual aspect of the park.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Great location and views but a little dated inside.
Pros:

Amazing location right on the lake - we were there for the jazz festival and you are right in the action here (although beware it can be loud at night as the festival often goes on until 2am). Lovely sundeck and helpful staff.

Cons:

The room felt a little tired and the carpet was worn.

Altogether would not recommend.
Pros:

Location is good. Breakfast was nice.

Cons:

We were there during Montreux Jazz and were expecting some noise. Our room however was like being in a club as El Mundo was located just outside. This was too much given we paid double for these dates. Also the room was really outdated, again with the price we paid.

Pros:

Das einzige womit dieses Hotel noch punkten kann, ist die Lage. Die Preis/Leistung ist nicht gegeben. Es ist eine Schande, dass sich ein solches Hotel in der Schweiz mit 5 Sternen schmücken darf. Ich würde dieses Hotel niemanden empfehlen, Sie bekommen für dieses Geld bestimmt besseres in anderen Hotels in der nähe, geboten.

Cons:

Das Personal, sei es im Service oder an der Reception ist zwar bemüht, aber in keiner weise geschult.
Das Hotel und seine Zimmer sind wie es die Fassade schon verspricht in einem sehr schlechten Zustand.
Auch die Aussenterrassen, Restaurant & Bar sind sehr ungepflegt.

最高の避暑地
Pros:

猛暑のスイスで部屋にクーラーがあるところ。本当に助かりました。
また、部屋からのレマン湖や山々の眺望が素晴らしい。
プールサウナ、ジャグジーも最高でした。
スタッフも皆さんフレンドリーでおしゃべりが楽しかったです。
モントルー・ジャズ・フェスティバルの時期の滞在でしたが、会場まで歩いてすぐで便利でした。

Cons:

ロビーなどのパブリックスペースにはクーラーが効いておらず残念でしたが、異常気象なので仕方ありません。また涼しい季節に再訪し、ロビーのカフェを利用したいです。

Fina, a wonderful lady made our stay simply perfect, adding enormously to the charm of the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Pros:

Very lovely 1950s glamour. Beautiful location.

Cons:

Too close to the music for Montreux Jazz Festival stay, lakeside with music thumping into the wee small hours every night. But that said, there are rooms which are further away and help to escape a majority of the noise. Or a City view room would probably be OK. But that’s just for that particular 2 weeks.
Most of the staff were good including the cleaners, waiters, general staff . Fina was exceptional. However one or two of the night staff were simply described as surly and unhelpful with huge egos and very little ability, in dealing with International clients. Which was a shame as Fina can’t run the whole show.
