Pros:

I had to switch rooms THREE times in order to get a halfway decent room. The first two rooms were old and outdated. The smell was horrible, smelled moldy. Then after looking around the room discovered that several items in the rooms had black mold on them. The light fixtures were rusted. The third room was okay aesthetically, however the appliances didn’t work and the silverware was either used and dirty or rusted. After walking back to the office for the third time, I was told you only get updated rooms if you book a “deluxe” room.

The bathroom was small and had outdated faucet and handles. Not all the outlets in the room worked. Furniture was older. Bedside tables outlets and USB charging station only one would work not both in either room.

Paint pealing, molding in bathroom was terrible looking. Mirror was off the wall. Girl that checked me in was sick. Pools were cold and hot tubs were way to hot this time. Indoor
pump did not work. We use to love this place.

The view was not what I wanted it was a corner room so I had partial oceanfront and next building view. I paid for oceanfront. I didn’t complain because it was cloudy and I couldn’t watch the sun rise over the water anyway. I always enjoy my stay there. It’s an annual vacation for my friends and I. The rooms are great and clean. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

I absolutely loved staying in this modest resort.
My bed was comfortable, my room was cozy, my balcony had a great view.

I recommend this place and I intend to book here again when I visit next time.

I had an indoor pool outdoor pool, hot tub, and the children’s water play area.
Access to the beach was easy.
Pool hours run late.

Everything was great. We wanted to stay an extra night. We even received an email regarding talking to the front desk people to get a great deal on an extra night. Then when I went to ask about it I was as going to have to check out at 11 and leave the motel then come back at 4 and check in for a different room. We were already there and that meant we would have 5 hours to do something with before we could check in. No one was willing to help us after we received the email.

I have to say everything was wonderful. I was able to do what I came for..RELAX!! Compass Cove is in a great location, I loved the amenities..multiple hot tubs, the lazy river pool.
The staff was extremely nice & helpful. The oceanfront room with balcony was breathtaking & very clean. I WILL BE BACK!! I WILL SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT COMPASS COVE RESORT

Our view was great. Loved waking up to the ocean view. Only issue we had was when we called the front desk to get some stuff we had to call 3 times to get and the bed was not to comfy.
