We love The Palms. It’s spacious, quiet and private. It gives you an opportunity to cook/prepare food in your condo rather than going out to eat every day. BBQ’s are meticulously maintained and located throughout the property. It’s close to the beach and within walking distance of Kihei and the Shopps of Wailea.
A wonderful place to stay in Wailea!
The property was listed with Air Conditioning, but we and all 10 other couples that we travelled with were shocked to find only AC in the main bedroom. When I called Expedia, I was told that in the fine print it said AC in main area at an additional cost. Pretty ridiculous. It was beyond hot and uncomfortable in the unit and made the stay unpleasant. Also, the units were very dated. We didn't have hot water for the first 2.5 days and then the tank needed to be replaced. Had to keep calling the front desk for updates only to hear that they would get back to me.

Very nice and cozy place. It was very clean and our room had a very modern look. Only complaint was that it was a little hot even though it does have air conditioning. It just didn’t seem to cool the whole room effectively. It is more than tolerable though and fine during the evening. Also don’t expect any accommodations for a late checkout. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.
Love the location and ease of the place. Pretty central to everything. Only thing that could have used some refining was the communication from the front desk. They changed the keypad of our room a few times via email making it confusing to which one was the correct one. Then they kinda scared us because we didnt respond to an email that made it appear we lost our reservation as we were arriving.
Lastly, the room was fabulous and clean. However, it could use some improvements - bathroom shower and sinks did not drain properly so had to shower in our dirty water unless we turned off the water to let it slowly drain. The front screen door gets stuck on the floor then slams along with it being super squeaky. The sliding door to the linai required a lot of force to open and close. Felt like the handle was going to break off because it was so heavy with a lot of friction. Wheels probably needed adjusting.
Other than that, I'd go back.
I truly enjoyed our stay. Staff was excellent and the property was perfect for my family.
The property was just okay. The shutters were very dust and the the master bedroom bed had a sheet that was 1 size too small and just kept coming off. The whole master bedroom all the way to the bathroom was carpeted, which made it musty on top of the typical Hawaii humidity.
The ocean view, however, was beautiful. The lawns and outside surrounding property was well kept.
Everything was sooo good and perfect!
It was great. Came back after 16 years and property is still in great shape.
It was a nice place to stay on maui. The rooms were spacious and clean. Everything we tried worked. Not cluttered. Good amount of seating inside and out. Good amount of dishes and pans. Newer appliances. Easy walk to the pool. The staff were friendly.

We loved our stay at the Palms!
I liked the area a lot but the property was a little run down. My party rented a few rooms at the Palms and every property was slightly different quality. The front desk was very kind and accommodating but I cannot recommend the property as there is a lot that can be improved. Everything was functioning and clean but it was clearly aged and run down. The living spaces have no AC, which would be difficult to survive in summer. The lotion provided was used. During our stay there was an open house above us and pest control came to spray the complex. It was just odd to experience all this during a vacation.
Location, the views, the swimming pool, friendly staff and the general layout and upkeep of the property.
The property was great. The room was very spacious. The bathrooms could have been cleaner before our check in but other than that it was a fantastic stay!
Never updated condo from the 70s. Dirty fan blades and doors, broken glass covered with packing tape, patio screen off its tracks, loose screw on another patio door track making operation difficult to name a few things. Pictures do not match the individual condo rented. The outdoor grounds and pool, however, were very nice.
