Location and parking
The hotel needs some upgrades, and they need to get better cable/satellite service. Breakfast offers nothing but bread and cereal no bacon or breakfast sausages Also housekeeping service was awful (said they had services the room but that was not true they didn't replace the bath towels or make up the bed the whole time we were there and never emptied trash cans.
Breakfast was skimpy.

It was very close to the historical sites and Busch Gardens.
It was dirty and dingy. The beds and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. My friend woke up covered in bites from some sort of bug. I found hair in my sheets. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and mustiness. The continental breakfast consisted of stale cereal, the typical waffles, bruised fruit, and sticky tables.
The property was clean, although it is need of some updating and remodeling. It is an older property, and some wear and tear is apparent in the rooms and facilities. The lobby is beautiful, and the staff were all very helpful and kind. The mattresses were very comfortable, and linens and towels were clean.
The pool is stated as indoor, however it is enclosed in a glass enclosure, and not heated nor temperature regulated. We tried to go swimming, but the water was cold and the doors were open, allowing the cool 60ish degree temps to interfere with our swimming.

The location was perfect. The price was the 2-3 times cheaper than similarly located areas. The free breakfast is limited but it was better than the nothing I get at most other hotels.

The bathroom door doesn’t close. The carpet is aged probably from 1970s and the beds were very uncomfortable. When we arrived and they asked for our credit card for the $50 incidentals, they said our card was rejected. So I gave them cash and called my credit card company and they said they did not reject it on their end. Now it’s checkout time and they want to inspect the room before they refund the $50 cash. I have never heard of such a thing and in such a dumpy hotel. They should’ve inspected the room before we arrived. Will never ever stay at this place again.

The location and leaving
The misleading marketing prior to staying. It is a former Best Western and there is a reason they no longer own it. The reviews do not match the reality.
It is a very tired hotel in need of urgent maintenance. There is a very strong smell of mold which is then re circulated through the poor internal air system. The hotel is not clean. In fact the former Beat Western foyer is the best bit aside from the broken printer, coffee and gaming machine.
The room was filthy, moldy and like a low standard hostel. The swimming pool was a death trap in and out of the pool. There was brown liquid seeping into the pool from an in ground filter on the bottom of the pool. Band aids, clothing, dirt and diapers surrounded the outside of the pool. The breakfast was expired yoghurt.
This is a nasty little hotel that needs to be shut down. There is a reason there were only 2 cars in the car park. The staff member and us. Keep driving. There are other better options.
It was close to everything and the room was clean. Breakfast was okay, only bagels/toast, cereal, waffles and yogurt. However the breakfast attendant was great he kept everything replenished and very clean!
The elevator doors kept opening when we were trying to go downstairs happened 3 times so we just got off and used the stairs just to be on the safe side.
It was good that it was pet friendly and clean for being a pet room
