Beautiful hotel with an excellent value. Breakfast was top notch, exceeded our expectations.
The staff were wonderful. There was an extreme weather issue when we arrived; a lot of flooding and many residence and travelers were evacuated from their homes and were unable to drive out of the city. The hotel welcomed people into its lobby to rest and use the dryers to dry their cloths. Such a kind gesture on the hotels part.

The location is nicely positioned just off the highway which is perfect for road-trip style travel. I was happy that it was both easy to find online and also easy to find in person. It being located across from a gas station and convenient food options is a nice bonus as well.
Good customer service.

I left a couple belongings in my room after checkout. I promptly let the staff know and was told no items were recovered. Housekeeping failed to turn in my items and management did nothing to help. No reimbursement for my belongings or the room was ordered. I would never trust this property again.
Check in was fast and easy.
As promised, our room included a bath (frequently hard to fine these days).
Dinner was surprisingly good, as was breakfast.
Service was outstanding at both meals, where the staff went above and beyond.
Very clean and comfortable room.
Easy breezy check-out and on our way.
I’m a longtime Hilton Gold member, and this was perhaps my happiest Hilton experience. (Who’da thunk that would happen in Redding, CA?)

Freindly staff
Convenient location, friendly, accommodating staff, restaurant was good.
Nothing
Staff were not as accommodating as what we got used to as higher tier Hilton Honors members. It’s a 3 story building. The front of the building is very noisy, while the back of the building is quiet. During my initial chat a couple of days prior to checking in, they flat out refused to preassign a room on the 3rd floor, not far from the elevator & facing the back of the hotel. They gave me all the rules and excuses, which I now by hard, being a higher tier Hilton Honors member for many years. Rooms on the 3rd floor, facing the back of the hotel are considered a “premium view”, so we made sure that’s the type of room we booked. In my initial chat with them, I begged them to accommodate a close proximity to the elevator request & they ended up accomplishing it. Room was renovated, due to the exception of the bed mattress, which was old & they said they are replacing mattresses in the near future. Room was actually comfortable, even with the old mattress & everything worked. I used an outdoor hot tub, which was really nice & operational during our stay. Pool was freezing cold. We ate at their restaurant twice, for dinner & breakfast. We had our usual favorite Hilton Garden Inn’s bbq wing’s & flatbreads, which was really good & waitress was nice, professional & service was prompt & efficient, which resulted in a good tip. Cooked to order breakfast the following day was just what you expect from the brand nowadays, which was good. Breakfast waitress was a bit over the top with some unnecessary comments & exclamations. We would probably return as long as we can reserve “premium view” on the 3rd floor & as long as the hot tub is working.
