Our stay was exactly what we were looking for.
Pros:

Property is old but on purpose. It hasn’t been updated to be a rectangle box with a parking lot and no originality. We loved the way the rooms are designed and oriented to be able to walk outside through the complex on paths, directly to and from the beach.

Cons:

If the landscaping and water works/fountains were in better working condition it would’ve added that much more to our experience.

A lovely older hotel to enjoy all Laguna Beach has to offer.
Pros:

A lovely hotel perched on the side of a cliff. It’s great for watching sunsets and an easy walk to nearby restaurants.

Cons:

Our room didn’t have any windows and after paying more to stay one night in an ocean view room it was a little disappointing.

Unglaublich schönes Hotel direkt am Meer in toller Lage
Pros:

Wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade bekommen und dadurch direkten Meerblick bekommen. Zudem haben wir Frühstück einfach dazukommen. Wir haben Blumen bekommen mit einer Begrüßung Nachricht. Der Eigentümer war super nett und hat sich gerne mit uns unterhalten. Die Lage ist direkt am Meer. Wir haben fast jeden Tag Delfine gesehen das war unglaublich.

Beautiful views and homey property
Pros:

Gorgeous beach views, room was spacious, very friendly staff and appreciated complimentary breakfast!

Cons:

Some areas of the room/property were a bit run down, noticed there was also a large gap between the front door to the room and top of the door frame. Deck view room was perfect with a great partial ocean view, but slightly pricy

Beautiful beach great location wonderful weekend.
Pros:

The easy access to the beach and beautiful views. The staff was incredibly helpful. The afternoon wine and cheese was also lovely and the coffee in the lobby,

Cons:

Parking was limited but there was an overflow lot when it was full.

Cons:

Room wasn’t very clean. Air conditioner unit in the room was extremely loud that it woke us up every time it turned on and we couldn’t turn it off since there were no windows in the room. Shower was rusted in spots and bathroom mirror was cracked.

Too pricey for loud waves, rough water, and do it yourself breakfast .
Pros:

Beautiful view. Clean. Sort of like being in Greece. Very nice staff.

Cons:

Waves are too loud for sleeping. I had to shut all windows, curtains, and doors, then turn on the AC fan, then use earplugs. Breakfast is make your own waffles or cold cereal. The beach is nice, I can swim in it, but you’d have to be fairly confident to go more than thigh deep. Surfers are out there, but there are rocks.

This place , an example .
Pros:

Eternally thankful with Capri Laguna . Close by to everything , perfect location and the beach is fantastic and right down a few steps from our room . The hotel and all around the hotel and facilities super clean and well cared for . I wouldn’t call it a fancy stay , even better i would call it a “ feels like home “ stay . Room was comfy . Our private space/balcony/patio was the highlight . Value was good for us , maybe we got lucky with slightly off season price ? but we were happy with what we payed for . The only noise we experienced was the ocean , so what can be better than that ? The service was out of this world , we met the most amazing people running the place , everyone was so polite , seemed happy people , natural hospitality from the heart . We need to mention that Nick , Bachir and Morgan plus the first guy we met when we arrived and forgot his name , made our stay such an amazing warm experience , they truly felt like family and was sad leaving after 5 nights there .. Capri Laguna , you are doing so right , don’t change . Gian & Kate .
