room good but food poor.
Pros:

Dinner was an amateur disaster.The new chef forgot to put my avacado in the starter course and my main course was cold.My wife's bread roll was inedible as it was so stale.My bill was £50 which was far too dear with no reductions.
AVOID eating here!

Breakfast - the sausages did not seem to be undercooked, did not taste very nice either. Poor reception on TV kept getting message no signal. Room was very warm and could only open the widows a couple of inches.

Great location for my purposes. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and spacious.

Cons:

Restaurant staff a bit uncommunicative. Food a bit over done. Mattress quite hard.

Lovely place to stay
Pros:

The newly refurbished rooms are great. The food has been faultless, having stayed here now for a number of weeks. The rooms are clean, and spacious. Bed very comfortable too!

Cons:

The only tiny blip, in a number of weeks, was the door of my room not being shut properly after 'refresh', in one of the cottage rooms, one day last week. Fortunately nothing happened!
