A quiet, comfortable stay.
Pros:

A beautiful place to stay. Friendly staff, beautiful quality room and furnishings. Always a peaceful nights sleep in a comfortable bed.

Short Surrey stay
Pros:

Recently refurbished room was very nice & well equipped. Bar & restaurant areas were also newly refurbished & a very nice area to relax.

Having driven up from Plymouth for a funeral, Thatchers was a lovely nights stop over, before returning home.

Avoid weekends with noisy wedding parties. Request fan when hot. Get decent coffee elsewhere.
Pros:

Reception area, bar, restaurant were all beautifully designed. Old items mixed in with new refurbishment. Quiet sitting areas outside. Staff helpful. Rooms well furnished.

Cons:

Bedrooms with no air con. Duvets way too thick and windows only opening 10cm. Breakfast was old fashioned - greasy bacon and sausages, rubbery eggs, no good plant based options. One coffee machine for all guests with poor coffee and powdered milk. Desperately needs improving.

Pros:

Staff are amazing, friendly, open, chatty, kind, caring, funny, professional & very welcoming. I love this little spot when I come for work, my house hunting journey or to pick my family up from Gatwick airport.

It’s very clean, rooms tidy, all recently furnished, I’ve met some lovely local people who work here during the day.

And I’ve made friends… and professional friendships too.
