De ligging en het zicht waren mooi, maar daar stopt het ook… al de rest was ondermaats, koud en kil… 40 jaar terug in de tijd … maar dan zonder ziel
De foto’s en sfeer die men wil overbrengen (via de website en social media) als een “leading hotel of the world” kloppen helemaal NIET met de realiteit !
Oud, gedemonteerd, koude, kille sfeer.
Het restaurant trok op niets (duur, te lang wachten, eten van slechte kwaliteit, weinig keuze…) kortom gewoon fake. Hotel zonder ziel.
Шикарный отель, с отличным видом на Женевское озеро. Ресторан Мишлен в отеле. Спа зона классная. Можно подняться на фуникулере

La proposition de bouteille d’eau pour la route a notre départ
L’EAU de la piscine trop froide. Le petit dej mal organisé, nous avons attendu longtemps pour avoir notre commande, tout devrait être en libre service si ça ne suis pas à la carte. Quand au choix, c’est très limité. La présentation de la chambre et de l’hôtel a été expéditive. J’avais demander des macarons dans la chambre, mais ça n’a pas été pris en compte. Il y aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement ( une plaque du plafond des toilettes menaçait de tomber, taches sur la moquette, rambarde du balcon qui bouge vraiment beaucoup…)
Hôtel proprement incroyable. Personnel à la hauteur de l’établissement. Petit bémol sur la literie, mais j’en ai fait part. Le petit déjeuner est gargantuesque, les chambres sont aussi grandes que propres et la vue est juste époustouflante.
La literie comme expliqué plus haut. Après et malheureusement c’est de plus en plus le cas, les clients qui se croient seuls pour téléphoner ou éduquer leurs enfants de manière « positive » : autrement dit attendre que quelqu’un se plaigne pour dire « ça gêne le monsieur donc il faut faire moins de bruit ». Mais l’hôtelier n’y est pour rien…

This place is truly a little piece of paradise! We’re so happy we found it and will definitely be coming back.
Everything was exceptional—the service, the room, and the breathtaking views were all beyond our expectations. We originally booked two nights but loved it so much that we extended our stay for another night because we simply didn’t want to leave.
An absolutely unforgettable experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! 😍
Should have realised that things were amiss on entering our junior suit to find complimentary water bottle pass their consume date.
On arrival at the hotel greeted by a team of black suited reception staff - not sure if we had arrived at a funeral parlour by mistake. On registration informed that we could not eat at the hotel as the dining was fully booked, but could eat out locally or have room service!!! Not quite 5 star service. We had room service but unfortunately it was most inedible, unless you love your food smothered in hot additives.
Breakfast was meagre and coffee invisible, guests were not too happy with the lack of staff.
We cut our stay short and left the hotel after one night. The hotel is a throw back to the 1980s where style dominates over substance. The staff try hard but some have a very, very poor attitude. Need to understand they represent the whole hospitality industry. Suggest they visit nearby 5 star hotel to understand what its all about.
Avoid disappointment, avoid this hotel.

Der Swimmingpool war während unseres 4-tägigen Aufenthaltes an 3 Tagen geschlossen wegen eines angeblichen technischen Problems nach einem großen Event. Am letzten Tag bekamen wir dann am Nachmittag während einer Wanderung einen Anruf von der Rezeption, dass der Pool jetzt endlich wieder benutzbar ist. Als wir dann um 18:00 zum Pool kamen wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass unser 14 jähriger Sohn nicht hinein darf, da der Pool für Kinder nur bis 18:00 geöffnet ist … 😡😡
Wir bekamen zwar vom Hotel einen Nachlass auf den Zimmerpreis, insgesamt war es aber doch sehr enttäuschend.
