The breakfast at latitude 30 was great. View was great. It was really nice to have umbrella and 2 chairs included as part of the stay. The ocean view was amazing. Very close to several arcades and mini golf and great restaurants. We ate at the Coastal and the food and drinks were great with amazing views.
The alcohol drink at the pool bar was mostly ice and pricey.
Came for Easter weekend, there was a live guitarist/vocalist on Friday and Saturday at the pool, both were amazing and took requests. On site coffee and a few restaurants. I like the towel kiosk, the elevators were quick, parking was easy, and the staff is friendly. Beach chairs are available but you have to get there early if you want a beach chair, they ran out around 1 pm. There are coffee pods in the room. The pool was heated!
Improvement areas: The rooms are clean, my only recommendation is to get thinner pillows or bring your own. The pillows were so thick it made it very uncomfortable when sleeping. Toilet paper was also less than desirable. Lastly I wish there were more servers at the pool taking orders at the beach chairs.
I would absolutely stay here again. It was quiet, not overly crowded and a quick drive to restaurants.
Got stuck on the same floor as a youth baseball team. Constant noise in the hall and door slamming. I called and texted about the noise multiple times and was assured someone was going to look into it. I ended up leaving a day early and got charged due to the new early departure policy. It's a nice property and the beach was nice but overall it was a disappointing couple days staying there.
Property was great
Rooms were a little small
Our view was of the jetties where the boats would go in and out. We had the best view of the sun rise from our room in the mornings. The balcony was perfect place to sit and watch the view. Room was clean and staff was helpful when needing something extra.
I love everything about this property
Pool area was large, pool was heated. Beds were comfortable and shower head and water pressure was nice.
Community tiny microwave besidethe ice machine, pillows were terrible, indoor pool was under construction, two of the restaurants were under construction, pool side bar was closed
We can't say enough good things about this place. We kept wondering, "What's the catch?", because the property, the amenities, and the location are all far and above what we have gotten in the same price range on Alabama beaches. I started looking past our usual chain choices when I found that more of them are charging a nightly fee of up to $20/night for parking. Self-parking at Perdido Beach Resort is free. At check in, we got upgraded from an Angle View room to a Pass View (also an angle view of the Gulf) just because we asked if an upgrade was available. The complementary glass of champagne was most welcome after our 6 hours of driving. The room was attractive, spacious, clean, quiet, and well maintained. The on-property bar and restaurants looked great and offered a nice variety of food with a choice of mid-range or more upscale dining. We opted to walk across the road one night to one of the handful of restaurants at SanRoc Cay shopping complex. The pool area is large with plenty of deck chairs. There was live music by the pool in the afternoon and in the bar area in the evening. We took advantage of FREE electric bikes to take ourselves to the beignet spot we love a couple of miles up the road. They also offer free beach umbrellas and 2 chairs per room, although we passed on those since our beach excursions in March consist of long walks rather than lounging or swimming. We found Perdido Beach Resort to be an amazing value for the price. The most surprising thing was that they don't hit you with a "resort fee", when we have been charged that at properties that were definitely not a resort. Why pay multiple hundreds of dollars plus parking for a basic Gulf front hotel room when you can stay in the same price range and get all of this?
I love the atmosphere and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. I did like the addition of the small game room.
We were down for springbreak which was initially cold. We were not warned that the hot tubs nor indoor pool was closed. We were given warning about the pizza and ice cream shop being renovated. The bar near the outdoor pool closed while we were there. We usually stay around the resort but this time, we actually had to leave to find things to do because of renovations. If u sat in the game room, u about needed earplugs. Our sink was stopped up on arrival, but maintenance fixed it promptly.
Birthday weekend started with dinner at Latitude 30. 10/10 service was AMAZING. Our waitress Tephane recommended very awesome choices. Could not go wrong!! Will return again!!
Super nice and clean. Staff was amazing! 10 out of 10!!!
Absolutely nothing!
Great location
Thank you, Jenna, for helping my family have the best experience and trip ever. You definitely deserve a raise and should be shown more appreciation for all you’ve done to ensure we had a room and received excellent service. The hotel was clean and beautiful not a room were you don’t have a good view!!
