Lively place to stay. 2nd time there and will be back when visiting Selby friends again

Surprisingly friendly people in the pub, locals.
Staff very helpful and friendly
Very clean
Well looked after
Options given for breakfast as don’t do breakfast

Cons:

Nothing.. music loud upto 11 ish but expected at bank holiday and weekends.not a problem, ear plugs provided
Didn’t get my chocolate on my bed on arrival this time lol

Staff amazing
Pros:

Sally the bar staff she was exceptional could not do enough for us to make us welcome went a ove and beyond what a beautiful soul she is she deserves recognition thankyou Sally ❤️

Cons:

Bed was very uncomfortable needs replacing no hot water in the morning so could not have a shower so made our stay uncomfortable 🙃

Pros:

Booked for my M.I.L and her husband to stay after a concert at selby abbey.
They gave nothing but praise for the staff and accommodations.
They enjoyed their stay and have stated that they will definitely stay again in the future.

If your an early bird or light sleep you can hear the musicfromthe bar downstairs until about 1am, ear plugs are provided in the room.
