This hotel met all of our expectations. The room was large and spacious. Spotlessly clean. The bed was perfect for a good night's sleep. We stayed 5 nights. Breakfast was included. The staff at the ADUNA restaurant where we had breakfast every morning, were very attentive and professional. The location of this hotel is excellent. Very secure and walkable area, Melrose Arch. Surrounded by top notch restaurants and high end shops. The staff at this hotel are amazing. I can't say enough about them. We will definitely return to this hotel when we return to Johannesburg.

This is truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. My visit was my very first time in Johannesburg and it definitely will not be my last. From the moment you step into the entrance of African Pride, you are treated like family. The staff, especially Sherpard & Peter, are extremely accommodating, helpful, and genuinely great people. The rooms are exceptional, clean, and very spacious — bonus points from me since I love taking a nice hot bath & this is one of the few reasonably priced hotels that actually has them! The gym is also well attended to & has the basics of what you need to get some daily movement in. The two restaurants on site (Aduna & Sebule) are also top notch with a wide variety of food options depending on your dietary restrictions. Lastly, the location is outstanding — a lot of restaurants, shops, businesses in the area and only a 15-30min drive to a lot of the popular attractions, museums, and excursions. I 100000/10 recommend this hotel — truly one of a kind!
This was an amazing beginning to our visit to South Africa. The staff are so friendly and attentive, taking care of details we wouldn’t have even thought of. Thoughtfulness from staff at breakfast and the cleanliness of the lobby combined with the wonderful maid service in the rooms made this stay one of the best I’ve ever had. I even learned a little Zulu from the doorman. Huge thanks to all the staff for such a wonderful stay!

I don’t know what your training consist of, but you must have trained your employees very well because they are exceptional!! the room was perfect and we did eat at Saul because we had a 20% discount, otherwise we might have eaten someplace else.
However, it was five star one of the best meals I had in AFRICA!!! compliments to the chef and a young man from Victoria, who gave us service that was a 10+
We absolutely love African Pride it has a sense of warmth and coziness. They have professional service from arrival to departure. It’s clean and both restaurants, Sebule (steak, wine and atmosphere) and Aduna (breakfast) have top tier food. It’s in an excellent location, there was a market going on while we were there which was nice but you have options of restaurants and shopping in the area.
We had an exceptional time at the African Pride. The service was extraordinary. The staff was friendly, professional and welcoming. We would come back again. 5 plus stars.
