It was convenient for going to the concert at the amphitheater. It was reasonably priced.
The toilet seat was loose. It moved back & forth when you sat on it. This is an easy fix but something that shouldn’t be over looked. It was ignoring every time you had to sit on it.
Close to concert
Staff
Close to venue and decently priced.
The hallways smelled like they needed to be refreshed with fresh air. They just gave the place a feeling of not being clean but it really was clean
Location
Breakfast
This place was awesome. Super friendly staff. Clean room, comfy bed with lots of pillows. Good a/c. Quiet. Walking distance to the amphitheater. Breakfast was good too. Oh and the room tv was the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel room. Absolutely recommend this place if your in for a concert.
No complaints at all.
Pool was fun for kids, too much chlorine, stung eyes
Very dirty in common areas. Room was clean, air worked great. Beds pretty comfy. Rooms small. Continental breakfast was disappointing.
Clean simple good location for the amphitheater.
N/A
It was close to the mystic like amphitheater and it had a pool with a waterslide.
I wish that the free breakfast was better and had more options and I wish there was more parking because the parking lot got very full very fast.
My wife and I stayed here after attending the Mumford & Sons concert, expecting a comfortable overnight stay. Instead, it turned into one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had.
Shortly after checking in, we discovered a used tampon wrapper and applicator inside the bag containing the room’s hair dryer. We immediately notified the front desk. To the hotel’s credit, the head housekeeper responded promptly, apologized, and replaced the hair dryer and bag. I appreciated her professionalism, but this was an alarming housekeeping failure that should never happen.
Unfortunately, that was only the beginning.
When we returned from the concert later that evening and prepared for bed, we found what appeared to be a blood stain on the bedding, hair underneath the top sheet, and discovered that the room telephone did not work, requiring us to use our personal cell phones whenever we needed to contact the front desk. The mattress was also extremely uncomfortable, and my wife woke up with back pain the next morning.
We photographed the apparent blood stain, the hair beneath the sheet, and the used tampon wrapper and applicator.
Because these additional issues weren’t discovered until late that night, we simply got through the remainder of the stay and checked out the next morning. We chose not to use the complimentary breakfast or the pool because, after what we had already experienced, we no longer had confidence in the cleanliness of the property.
Following our stay, I contacted both hotel management and Wyndham Customer Care. The hotel acknowledged the hair dryer incident but declined any meaningful refund because the bedding and telephone issues were not reported before checkout, even though they weren’t discovered until we turned down the beds late that evening. Wyndham Customer Care ultimately referred the matter back to the independently owned property.
The hotel initially offered a complimentary future stay, a $40 refund, or 5,000 Wyndham Rewards points. Rather than continuing to insist on a full refund, I later proposed a 50% refund as a compromise. That request was denied, and management advised the matter was closed.
During our email correspondence, the hotel’s email account also reacted to one of my messages with a 😆 emoji. I have a screenshot of that interaction. I can’t say whether it was intentional or accidental, but during an active guest complaint it came across as unprofessional.
I understand that hotels have policies requiring guests to report issues during their stay so they have an opportunity to correct them. I also believe guests should be able to reasonably expect that rooms are clean, bedding has been changed, personal hygiene waste has been removed, and basic room amenities function before a room is rented.
The most disappointing part of this experience wasn’t just the condition of the room, it was how the complaint was handled afterward. Aside from the prompt response from the head housekeeper, I left feeling that multiple documented cleanliness concerns were minimized rather than meaningfully addressed.
Based on both the condition of the room and the handling of our complaint, I cannot recommend staying at this property.
