Pros:

Close to the University I was visiting. Room was clean and well taken care of.

Cons:

Mold on a breakfast item, which means a staff member is not making sure food is good before serving to public.

Cons:

Terrible staff communication. When manager was confronted about hot water issues over two previous days, she copped an attitude and stated she would check the hot water. After never calling me back (like she said she would), I messaged her. Her response was hot water was good.

Room was great and staff was great, but the complete lack of AC on 1st floor was unbearable.

The entire lobby and breakfast area was EXCEPTIONALLY HOT the entire time I was there. There were portable chillers in various places throughout this space, but they were set at 88 degrees! It was at LEAST 88 degrees in those areas, making enjoying breakfast (one of the main reasons I booked this hotel over others) impossible. Hotel staff working behind the front desk were wiping sweat off of themselves with towels. It was really unbearable. Fortunately the HVAC in my room was fine, but the discomfort in the lobby and breakfast area were extreme. I also feel that $22/day for parking is a bit high for the area and the rate of the room. Additionally (and this might have to do with the oppressive temperatures), the common spaces were not clean (elevator floors, lobby floors, etc. were very dirty).
