Charged me for the wrong room.

Staff was very rude when we checked in. Acted like it was a bother to check us in. Check me in the wrong room, gave me my daughter’s room which was cheaper than mine and then had my daughter pay for my room which was more expensive. Then tried to blame us by saying well you both have the same last name but I gave her my id when I checked in. Then said you guys work out the difference. No you made the mistake you can fix it. After it was all said and done I ended up paying more than I booked the room for originally. We should have been compensated for the error but we definitely didn’t get that. Never staying at Holiday Inn Express anymore. You lost my business.

the property was close in the city, had breakfast included & a heated pool.

Cons:

the bathroom vents smelled like marijuana, and there were opened condom packets under the mattress. the breakfast was also cold.
