I thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is spectacular. The service, hospitality, food, accommodations, amenities are all very special. They have ongoing classes and events. Each of the restaurants is excellent with El Olivo being over the top fabulous. The views are breathtaking and it is centrally located by town and easy to get to other parts of Mallorca.

La Residencia! A perfect end to our trip in Mallorca. It exceeded our expectations in every way - from the unbelievable scenery to the incredible staff. They outperformed on every level and truly set the bar for luxury hotel service. It is a place with heart and soul- where the genuine care of the staff overshadows the absolute beauty of the landscape.

There are many standout moments but to highlight a few- we had a seamless check in and were warmly welcomed back as returning Belmond guests which set the tone for the rest of our stay.

Their guest experiences are thoughtfully curated with an impressive variety of creative activities- cooking classes, guided hikes, donkey meet and greet (!). We only wish we had more time to experience them all.

The concierge team deserves special recognition for going above and beyond in a way that most would not which ultimately left us with the most memorable experience of our trip.

The food was consistently excellent, and the service throughout the resort was exceptional. But once again the staff was the highlight. There are 2 waitresses at breakfast and lunch that welcome you back as though you are old friends everyday. We walked away from each meal talking about how wonderful they are.

I could go on and on- but what truly makes La Residencia special is its authenticity - the staff genuinely love the property and sincerely care about their guests. You genuinely feel the love of hospitality on this Property and we truly feel it has set the gold standard.

Wait staff were helpful, poolside service was very good, views were unbelievably stunning. Service felt very corporate-ized and impersonal however. Concierge service was unwilling to go above and beyond for any slight personal requests—disappointing compared to luxury hotels that charge half the rates.

The staff here are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. They think of something you need even before you do! Lovely room and comfortable bed. Pillows changed on request. Food very good too.

I’ve stayed at La Residencia many times over the past ten years, and somehow it just keeps getting better.

I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in some of the finest hotels in the world, but nowhere has ever captured my heart quite like this place. It’s difficult to explain because it’s not the rooms, the views or even the food, although all of those are wonderful. It’s the people.

The team here live and breathe hospitality. It isn’t something they switch on when they come to work, it’s simply who they are. Every interaction feels genuine, every smile feels real, and nothing is ever too much trouble. They don’t just meet expectations, they quietly exceed them over and over again.

One of the things I love most is seeing the same familiar faces year after year. In an industry with such high staff turnover, that says an enormous amount about how this hotel must treat its team. Happy staff create happy guests, and nowhere is that more obvious than here.

There is something almost magical about La Residencia. You arrive feeling like a guest and leave feeling like you’ve been looked after by friends. I’ve brought family and friends here over the years, and every single one has fallen in love with it in exactly the same way I did.

What impresses me most is that they never stop trying. Even after all these years, they are still looking for ways to make the experience even better. That relentless attention to detail is incredibly rare.

This place has become my happy place. My home away from home. Every year I leave wondering how they can possibly top it, and every year they somehow do.

Thank you to every single member of the team. You have something truly special, and I hope you all realise just how much of the magic comes from you.

We ended up at La Residencia on a whim and only had about 24 hours to spend there, but it was one of the highlights of our trip.

We arrived around 9:00 p.m. and, instead of checking into our room first, were escorted straight to dinner at Miró. The setting was absolutely beautiful—a pianist was playing and singing as the sun set over the mountains. It honestly felt like something out of a dream.

After dinner, we were shown to our room, where we had a wonderfully restful night’s sleep. I woke up early the next morning to explore the grounds before the day warmed up, and I’m so glad I did. The gardens are stunning, the Poet’s Walk is lined with beautiful sculptures, and every corner of the property feels peaceful and thoughtfully designed.

Breakfast was exceptional. There was a wonderful mix of traditional Mallorcan specialties and classic breakfast favorites. The homemade breads and fresh juices were some of the best we’ve had. What stood out even more was the staff. They were incredibly warm and attentive with our son—even taking him into the kitchen to make his special request of ham and bread, which completely made his day.

Fernanda at the Kids Club deserves a special mention. She was the first person our son has ever willingly stayed with, which speaks volumes about how kind, patient, and engaging she is. She’s truly a gem.

We spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool, took the hotel’s shuttle to and from Cala Deià, enjoyed the complimentary cava tasting, and ended the day on a sunset cruise arranged by the hotel. The boat—a beautiful 38-foot Pardo—was fantastic, and Jaime was an outstanding captain who made the experience even more memorable.

I only wish we had stayed longer. In just 24 hours, La Residencia managed to create memories we’ll treasure for years. The beauty of the property, the genuine hospitality, and the feeling of complete tranquility make it one of the most magical places we’ve ever visited. It’s truly an absolute dream.

I love, love, love Belmond properties… our first Belmond was our wedding in Ravello and we’ve stayed at about 6 different locations. The service was impeccable, and it felt extremely friendly and welcoming. Pool service was by far the best we’ve ever had. Breakfast is always the star of the dining at Belmond properties, which did not disappoint here either. They also had an awesome fully equipped gym. Spa was nice but the pool could use some renovations and the massage was just good, not great. The yoga was terrible - and all people in the group we had just met agreed when we ran into them later. She had a bad energy. We felt more stressed by the 30 min delay because no one was told to bring their own yoga mats so we had to run all the way back to the gym, the instructor was very disorganized and didn’t show anyone what to do, and we were directly in the sun (95 degrees). But it was something to laugh about later. Concierge was very helpful. Each day we stopped at the cake bar (your choice of 8 different freshly baked cakes each day), and a sunset aperitif on the terrace with live music. The terraces and bar are always my favorite part of a Belmond property - the views are like a dream. The General Manager checked in on us three times during our 2 night stay, which was appreciated. Out of all the Belmond properties, this one had the best service and was very on top of things. I overheard one couple having to catch an early flight and having to miss breakfast the next day, but the waitress said she’d be in early and would back them one to go - impressive. However, the room and bathroom were very basic for $3500 per night, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I also think all Belmonds in general fall short with lunch and dinner so there is room for improvement.

We have been visiting the residencia since it was owned by richard Branson , it was then let’s say rather a relaxed hotel but since it’s been owned by the big group l lvmh
It has improved in all respects , so much so we visit it automatically every year .
This year we decided to start by a few nights at the Matthew Williamson suite .
It has its own decent sized pool , completely private with a lover Italianate walkway
Covered in wisteria , you open the door to the suite and there us the walkway
There is a sitting area just as you go in covered in if course colourful cushions and then this splendid walkway , a walkway in your own suite !
The rooms itself are full of colour as you might expect , very comfortable bedroom , bathroom and lounge and then it’s very private pool .
A delight
After this a stay in the tower suite , with great views.
We enjoyed enormously the food in the Tramuntana dining area near the latge pool
And of course the excellent breakfasts where everything you would want is on offer
The staff in the hotel to a man or woman cannot do enough for you they are genuine warm and efficient , they made our holiday .
As I have said before to sit on the terrace overloooking their beautiful gardens sipping a rose champagne is one of life’s pleasures .
So it’s must return to spot .

We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of July, and the experience was great. We have not been in a hotel where the personnel was that friendly and guest oriented as this one. In addition, all restaurants provide great food, and the pool areas are with nice view, well maintained.

The most beautiful setting I’ve ever visited. We popped in for a cocktail in the afternoon, and it was just fabulous. The surroundings were stunning, creating such a relaxing and memorable atmosphere.

The staff were so warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the experience even more special. A truly beautiful place that I’d highly recommend, and one I’ll definitely visit again.
