La Residencia is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The setting in an old finca in Deià, surrounded by the Tramuntana mountains, is uniquely special. The food is exceptional, but what truly sets this place apart is the remarkable attention to detail from every member of the team. Every moment felt thoughtful and genuine. An outstanding stay in every way. Thank you very much to all of the team at La Residencia!

I just arrived home from La Residencia and I was looking forward to write a review. In my case I spent a night together with my parents. We are residents in Mallorca and we had always heard amazing things from this hotel and, for sure, we needed to try it.
Everything was perfect from the start to the end. The people were welcoming and a lot of them local, speaking in catalan, which was really nice. The service and each detail of the decoration was perfect, from having a welcome drink at Bar Miró with stunning views towards the town, how each plant was in perfect state and everything so cleaned on the exterior. Between others, these details show the work that is done throughout the day.
In the case of our room, it was perfectly designed with several amenities and a Dyson. I felt in love with the shower, which had lovely tales, and my mother with the lamps and the bed.
Later at the Spa… another level of relaxation. My mother had a more relaxing recovery massage and I had one recovery massage with the help of a massage gun, both with Gemma, which was really great. It was fun to see how we both came out with different faces as we came in! As well, a variety of tee and snacks are to be self-served and a lot of services to use. Our favorite one, with no doubt, the exterior jacuzzi.
Our dinner at Miró was magnificent. From the service, to the perfectly cooked “solomillo“ which melt in our mouths. We would like to mention Marta and Dani who took really good care of us during the night.
From the breakfast I would like to highlight the coffee, from which my father had three and is quite unusual, and the variety of healthy food, olive oil’s and salt varieties that are produced in the Balearic Island.
In conclusion, I would definitely suggest any tourist coming in for a few days at this artistic hotel and, we will definitely be coming back next year with some more time!
This is a place where you can completely relax. the surroundings, the hotel, the food ,the staff ... everything is perfect.
LA RESIDENCIA Mallorca is breathtaking. Every second and every frame felt stunning. Time slows here, and nature and architecture blend in perfect harmony. I cannot imagine a better place to recharge. From the welcome to the parting gift, every detail felt thoughtful, and every team member was warm and professional.
The venue was suburb, they provided excellent service. The hotel provided everything you could think of in your room and around the hotel. This was the nicest place we have stayed in on vacation. Thank you for the wonderful vacation.

The hotel itself is gorgeous but I got verbally abused on my first night by another guest of the hotel. She was not removed from the hotel and should have been - it resulted in me being 'escorted' to breakfast and 'all the staff watching me to ensure I was ok' but this just made me feel watched and uncomfortable. I didn't feel safe for the rest of my stay which is a shame as the views are beautiful of the mountains, the staff were accommodating and the hotel itself is classy. It is a shame that the situation was not handled better and it has put me off travelling alone. This has retrospectively been addressed by the hotel on my return to the UK.
It was the best experience, the place was awesome and the weather was great. The colors of the mountain makes it more cozy with a vintage/modern aura of the hotel. We love it so much.

Mine was a two-days trip to this marvellous place in heaven, there is no other ways to describe this spot.
The atmosphere is of total relax and the sense of nature you get when walking through the paths of the property leading you to panoramic spots is uncomparable.
The room we had was simple but yet full of comforts, the colourful bathroom with the huge walk-in shower totally renewed was difficult to leave!
The value for money has no competitors, believe me, the calmness and "let-it-go" feeling sourrounds you anywhere you go, and the staff is of another level! It is not a home-away-from-home, it is paradise!
I was so lucky to get to know the general manager and his incredibly skilled collaborators, they are all happy to welcome you in this unparalleled experience. I feel grateful for the 30 degrees of late October and having enjoyed the free activity offered by super kind Jeanne, who lead me and my friend in this uncomparable mindful walking meditation across the property's gardens.

We recently stayed at La Residencia and were truly taken by the charm of Deia—a stunning, peaceful village that perfectly captures the spirit of Mallorca.
The hotel itself blends seamlessly into this picturesque setting, offering a relaxed, artsy atmosphere that really sets it apart. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff stood out. Every team member we encountered was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely helpful, which made our stay feel special and personal. Clara in particular from concierge was so informative and supportive of our daily experience.
Our room was comfortable, beautifully appointed, and full of character. We especially enjoyed the breakfast each morning, which was lovely and well presented.
Critical feedback:
It’s worth noting that our room was positioned quite close to the breakfast dining area, which occasionally disrupted the early morning peace. The positioning of the windows particularly presented a reduced feel of privacy which overlooked pathways.
While we didn’t dine at the hotel’s restaurants for dinner, we did have lunch and found it to be somewhat overpriced given the portion sizes. One small disappointment was at the bar: we ordered an Old Fashioned (our pre-dinner drink of choice) and requested Maker’s Mark, which was listed as a €2 supplement on the menu as a bourbon. We were surprised to be charged €5 extra per drink, particularly when the standard version of the drink is made with a rather low-end Jim Beam, which didn’t quite match the quality we expected from a hotel of this calibre.
The spa facilities also felt slightly underwhelming. While the area was pleasant, the steam room in particular could use some improvement to meet the standard set by the rest of the hotel. It wasn’t full of steam.
Despite these minor criticisms, La Residencia remains a five-point experience for Trip Advisor in our view—primarily due to the outstanding staff, the beautiful setting, and the unique artistic ambiance that runs throughout the property. With a few thoughtful adjustments, this place could easily go from excellent to exceptional and be a true Five-star establishment.
We look forward to returning one day, and hope this feedback is helpful to both management and future guests.
