First time staying in the Big Blue, decent hotel but the staff made it really special, was celebrating my 40th birthday and wanted to give a special mention to Dave who was so lovely and made the birthday celebrations special for me and my family

The room was a good size and very clean as was the whole hotel great buffet breakfast plenty of choices also cater to anyone with specific dietary requirements. Will definitely be going back.Only slight problem was mattresses very firm used to mine being a bit softer highly recommend

Hotel OK and good location. We thought the breakfast was a rip off at £18 per head. designed for high volume throughput not quality!
We had a lovely stay but did not take advantage of the restaurant etc. however, room was nice and clean. The bed was a little too firm for my liking but I do prefer pillow like mattresses. Other than that, it was great.
Waited so long at the bar the first night that we ended up leaving. Ordered room service 2nd night which took longer than we were told but was nice.
Price for parking was shocking and if we had realised before booking with have gone elsewhere which we will do in future
We booked at short notice and had not realised this is a hotel that is geared for children, if that is what we wanted it would have got a 5 star review but alas it was not for us.
No problems with anything and for me looking out of my window at the big dipper rides on the Blackpool Pleaseure Beach was not a problem, in fact it was nice to see!

Room was a nice size
We had an excellent stay for the weekend. 2 adults 2 children. The family room was amazing. The children had their own area with bunk beds, tvs and game console. The room was lovely. The hotel gave us a pass to go through to the pleasure beach at the back of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. Being gluten free, the cook fresh food for you and explain what is available. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful.
Food nice and dietary requirements well catered for. Friendly and efficient staff. Rooms adequate and clean.
PS3 in rooms not worth shouting about. No games provided etc.. nice hotel but not worth the extra over a premier inn for example
Stayed in double deluxe room with sofa bed and everything was flawless. Contemporary deco, nice beds, good quality amenities. Comfortable stay. Quick check-in and check out
Well located for the Pleasure Beach with chargeable parking. Spacious, comfortable room. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast with excellent food and service.
Great room. Very comfortable with view overlooking the park.
Parking was expensive (£20) and would have only been £10 if we had booked direct with the hotel.
Breakfast was very disappointing. It was extremely busy with really long queues to the one working drinks machine and toaster.
Vegetarian options at breakfast were very limited - I asked about vegetarian options with the cooked breakfast which was supposed to be included and was told I would have to wait about 15-20 minutes for it to be made, so didn’t bother (this is a buffet breakfast so you would expect things to be readily available.)
All in all the hotel was great, but I wouldn’t pay for the breakfast again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel,really friendly helpful staff,the hotel was lovely and clean ,beds comfortable, loved looking at the rides going past our bedroom window, loved the stay and would definitely book again .
