Really disappointed after staying in other Britannia hotels
Pros:

It was conveniently located but that’s about all I can say that’s good sadly

Cons:

The bed had hair in it, marks on the sheets, the floor had a hole in covered by carpet which i unfortunately slipped down, it was small and the bed wasn’t comfortable at all. The room was to hot with no air conditioning or fans available

Room was surprisingly comfy and clean. Staff were helpful and well presented

Cons:

Bar was closed for the duration of my visit, Not a disaster this time but would make me think twice about booking again.

The outside is extremely tired looking.

A lovely hotel situated close to my destination and provided far more than I expected for the cost.
Pros:

Reception was almost waiting for me.
I am limited in my walking and had asked for a ground floor room. There are none, but my first floor room was closest to the lift. Superb.
A power socket over the bedside table enabled me to charge my phone and hearing aids, within reach, whilst in bed.
Lovely shower. Was caught out by mechanism selecting between overhead shower or hand held extension.

Cons:

Nothing wrong, but such a superb shower could be improved with grab handles inside the shower to enable less mobile people to get in and turn round. It is all so smooth.

Good value
Pros:

Refurbished 1960s/70s hotel. Some features were quite quaint. The rooms have all been redecorated and the toilet/shower was excellent. Comfortable beds and spotlessly clean room. Staff were very welcoming. The email link to book in before arrival didn't work and was slightly worrying that the reservation might not be valid. Also the email requesting photo ID and credit card details would be needed on arrival despite the fact that the room had been paid for. Overall though very good for the money and good access

Pros:

Stayed there for 6 nights didn’t change my bedding or towels in 6 nights even when asked to my dirty bedding was outside the room for 5 nights without being collected by cleaners will not be staying here ever again
