Globus Urban Hotel

Our stay at The Globus Urban Hotel in Firenze, Italy was truly wonderful. The location is fantastic, the rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the hotel has a warm, modern feel that instantly puts you at ease after a full day of exploring.

What really made our stay special, though, was the kindness of the staff. A very special thank you to Ivy, the barista, who completely made my morning. Before I even had a chance to order, she sweetly brought me my cappuccino just the way I like it. It was such a thoughtful and genuinely caring gesture.

Despite ongoing tension with my mother-in-law throughout our stay, that small moment of kindness had a big impact and turned my entire day around. It reminded me how powerful true hospitality can be, and how much a simple act of thoughtfulness can mean.

I’m incredibly grateful, and I’ll always remember that moment. Thank you, Globus Urban — and especially Ivy — for making our stay even more meaningful.

Leiann made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was our favorite part about the stay… and we really liked our room! She made us tea when I wasn’t feeling well, and assisted us with everything we needed.

L'emplacement est tout simplement idéal : au cœur de tout, proche de la gare, du marché et du centre historique. L'hôtel est très confortable, avec une mention spéciale pour la salle de bain fonctionnelle et sa douche à ambiance lumineuse variable (très sympa !). Mais le vrai point fort, c'est l'équipe. La réception est d'une grande gentillesse, saluant inlassablement à chaque passage. Le service au petit-déjeuner est fabuleux, tant par la qualité des produits que par le personnel. Un immense merci à Mia et Ivy, adorables et serviables, qui ont retenu mes habitudes (mon chocolat chaud !) et mon numéro de chambre dès le deuxième jour. On se sent vraiment considéré. La salle du petit-déjeuner et l'accueil sont magnifiques.

The hotel was in a great location near all attractions, market and restaurants. Room was clean and very quiet. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast had a lot of variety and Mia and Niki greeted us warmly every morning with our coffee.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent (right in the city centre and 10min walk for the train station), and the hotel is very clean. Breakfast was good, there wasn’t a huge variety (for example, no vegetables apart from cherry tomatoes), but it was more than sufficient for me, and I must say everything was really fresh and tasty!

All the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Ivy and Mia who served us during the brekfast. I stayed in a single room, which was quite small, but it had everything I needed, was comfortable, and very clean.

The only downside was that the heating system made some noise and occasionally woke me up, so this single room may not be ideal for light sleepers. Overall, I had a pleasant stay, liked the hotel, and would happily return.

Struttura curata, pulita, stile moderno e funzionale, posizione eccezionale vicinissima al mercato centrale, alla stazione di Santa Maria Novella, a piazza del Duomo. Camera e bagno piccolini ma accoglienti con tutto quello che può servire per un soggiorno rilassante. Varia e abbondante la colazione sia dolce che salata. Un grazie particolare a Mia e Jem che ci hanno accolto con professionalità e simpatia in sala colazione facendoci sentire a casa e grazie al Sig. Nicola persona simpatica e alla mano con il quale è stato un piacere scambiare quattro chiacchiere alla reception. Speriamo di poter tornare ancora.

The Globus Hotel in Florence is truly a hidden gem! I had a very quiet and comfortable stay, which made it the perfect place to unwind after busy days exploring the city. The staff is incredibly attentive and made me feel genuinely welcome throughout my visit. Special thanks to Mia, Ivy, and Leian for their exceptional care and kindness. They really made my stay memorable!

La ubicación perfecta, el hotel nuevo, muy limpio, el desayuno muy completo y variado. El personal muy profesional, encantador y amable. Lo he disfrutado todo.

Decent hotel, location is good, price not bad, clean is good too. The room is kind of small but still good enough for one or two people. But the shower place is small. Its really just can fit skinny people. (Classic room) Staffs are nice and flexible. Close to landmarks. Central market just right behind the hotel. Couple supermarket nearby.
