the proximity to the beach
It was completely unprofessional; I booked an oceanfront room online and got Room 522, but it was awful—the carpet smelled like shit, and the mattress was wet with dog or child urine and dirty all over. The bathtub was filthy, and there was hair all over the bathroom floor. They moved me to Room 216, which was also in bad shape—no towels, soap, or pillows (which I had paid for). Then, the air conditioner made so much noise I couldn't sleep. On top of that, the other guests were rowdy and played music at full volume. All in all, the stay at that hotel was a total disaster.
There is nothing to like in this hotel except for the location.

The view
Poor house keeping we had only 2 towel for 4 people are hole stay from sat to Monday ask for towel 4 times and coffee we ask for final got some that night only had half role towel paper if u stay bring your own cart no parking in front of motel had to use parking garage and it was full.
The front desk staff was very friendly.
Room was disgusting. Dirty wash towels left in bathroom. Stains on walls and carpet. Broken balcony chairs. TV and phone didn’t work. Had to ask for towels upon arrival. No blankets on beds.
I only liked the location
The whole hotel was very dirty, with trash everywhere—especially outside the rooms and by the elevators. There was a dirty towel in our bathroom, no blanket, and the coffee maker was bad. The staff wasn't friendly; they were rude, especially the ones who handled the checkout.

Extremely dirty- no towels at check in no blankets on either bed - bathroom sink had a clog & didn’t get unclogged until 10:30 pm & then wasn’t rinsed/washed out. The whole thing was gross. Then the day we were checking out… i saw a bed bug on my pillow.. i took a pix immediately & then killed it & looked for blood bites on sheets… Thankfully none - but when i mentioned to staff.. No apology or surprised reaction, just told me there is a protocol for this and would call exterminator.. One staff member said if i thought it was so awful she would have left.. I said we drove 4+ hr the night b4 & this was last hotel avail.. & if i had seen bed bug last night we would have left!!!!

Our room was not cleaned the beds were gross, there was literal food from previous guest, there was someone underwear on the table, the ceiling in the bathroom was brown and literally falling down, the hallways we’re disgusting they had trash up and down the hallways, there were no towels in the room, the pools were freezing cold, and there were roaches crawling in the hallways.

The room was filty,dirty bath towels shower curtain, tub. Hole in mattress with exposing wire. Replacement mattress urine saturated.

The location is excellent for the Boardwalk activities. There’s local artists and vendors of all types, beach chair rental and and dolphins in the morning. It is 10 blocks north of the Vibe District and Amusement Park. The AC was cold, the balcony accessible, the water clear and hot.
The hallways are HOT, the elevators were partially out of order and ice machines only on 2 of the 8 floors. The Mexican restaurant downstairs was overpriced by double, though the one meal I had was as good as any I’ve had elsewhere.
