Great location / dated and worn / but comfortable

Cons:

I traveled with my dog and was told I would be charged $50 per night for the dog - $50 per night! I had called Wyndham properties prior to my booking and was told it would be $25 per night - I had 2 stays on my vacation and feel the $50 per night charge to be excessive!

A little gem in VA
Pros:

Staff is always wonderful

Cons:

A bit understaffed. Rooms were not as clean as they normally are. No towels in room but that's because they were short staffed. Pool not heated heat pump broken.

Pros:

I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience at the Ramada Plaza hotel. I came here with a group of high school student athletes for a track meet at the local sports center. Upon arrival there was a strong smell of cigarettes in the lobby. The elevator smelled like weed. The hallways were dim, dingy and desperately in need of fresh paint. The door to the hotel room was difficult to open and shut. The room did not feel clean at all. There were stains on the headboard and on the towels. There was hair in the tub. There is a sign in the bathroom stating that the room would be tidied up daily… this did not occur.

Additional disappointments: the pool was not heated, the “game room” is just vending machines, the water for my morning showers was always cold.

The highlights: beachfront rooms with ocean views are always nice. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating despite all of the issues and disappointments.

Needless to say, I would not stay here again and do not recommend unless they address these various issues.

HORRIBLE. CHOOSE ANOTHER LOCATION.

I booked a double accessibility room, and I got it but the tub faucet was removed completely with rust running down into the tub. Both handles were broken. The shower didn’t have a stand so you can only use it if you hold it. The front desk was quite possibly the worst I’ve everrrrr dealt with, with the exception of the night auditor. The lady that checked me in was very rude, she told me they were going to be removing that tub and I just had to deal with it because I didn’t book a “jacuzzi” room, but the accessible rooms do have a jacuzzi. The second room we were given was dirty, there was a cup of cigarettes and water on the balcony, a dirty soap bar, hair in every corner, all already not a good experience. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work. Asked to speak with manager and was told I didn’t have the option.

NOT clean~ but great location
Pros:

NOT CLEAN!! There was more than half a roll of USED toilet paper left on roll- without any new ones, carpet in hallways and room was filthy, sticky surfaces, there was somebodies leftover food & open containers in fridge, no soap, tub dirty, sticky surfaces. Very disappointed~ and should have listened to previous reviews. Thankfully I always pack Lysol spray, Clorox wipes, and our own sheets/towels. Which was the only reason we felt better staying there.
Other than that.......GREAT location, views, lobby & elevators always smelled good and seemed clean.

Pros:

The location was great. Lobby always clean and smelled very good. Balcony views were awesome. Property within walking distance to several stores and restaurants.

Cons:

It was filthy! There were piles of dirt in hallways, half used roll of toilet paper left in bathroom with no new rolls, smelled bad like cigarettes, sticky surfaces, tub dirty, and someone's else's leftovers in fridge!
