Staff is snobby and rude, the valet talks disrespectfully about you, the front check in desk is snobby and rude, the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion were empty, the coffee creamer has gone bad, the staff that were holding the door closed it in my face (either don’t hold it open at all or actually hold it open), the room service (25 dollar charge for room service btw) forgot half the order and their solution to that problem was “just go down to the 9th floor and do it yourself”, on top of all of that the room was dirty and smelled off
The room is big. We have half a view to the falls which is nice.
As a hotel guest, you can go to the observation tower next door to watch the fireworks.
Breakfast included is not buffet but a set menu. Quite large portion and good quality. Have to tip although breakfast it's included in the room price.
My wife and I stayed here and we both loved it. We chose a Falls view room, and I’m glad we did. The view of the Falls from our 41st floor room was very special. The rooms are a good size, the bed was comfortable, and you could crack the window enough to hear the roar of the Falls…..41 stories up!
All the staff were very friendly and helpful, with a special shoutout to Angelo who helped us check out and get on the road. Very helpful and friendly.
When staying here, pay the extra funds and get a Falls view. These rooms are FANTASTIC! The view at the day is fantastic and yet it is even better at night when the lights are on and with the fireworks.
You can't beat the location of this hotel. It is literally steps to the Falls' activities. Restaurant access is also very convenient. The hotel itself was fine but overpriced. The elevators are incredibly slow and parking onsite was $100/day. But the shuttle to the lower priced ($35/day) lot was never more than a few minutes away and very convenient. If we return the only reason we would not choose this hotel is the price.
After driving for 9 hours from nj we reached around 12 midnight coming to a surprise that they cannot give us the room which I booked a week ago because they are overbooked. Horrible experience. They had me go with my kids to hilton and book an expensive room over there.
The location of the hotel is great! Especially for the activity I booked they picked us up straight from the hotel. Our view from the room was AMAZING!! It was clean and comfortable! I would stay there again in a heart beat!! We didn’t eat at the restaurants or breakfast there so I have no idea about their food and I am pretty sure breakfast was not included, but the hotel staff were great when checking in and out. When we got here they did offer us an upgrade and so glad that we took it!
Immaculate rooms that have been recently renovated. We had three queen beds spread across two rooms in the suite, so plenty of space to spread out. Breakfast is expensive at STK but the beautiful views are worth one visit. The only issue that tainted our stay enough so that we would not recommend this hotel to others is the parking fee. $70 CAD (++ tax’s/fees) for on-site self parking that “sells out” in the evening, so the only other options are an off-site lot with a shuttle for $35++ or $10++ for valet. The hotel chooses the price point for their parking fees and have decided to fleece their guests. It’s unfortunate as it was an otherwise pleasant stay in a hotel with modern rooms and great location.
Location can be beat. Most amazing view of Falls and fireworks from my room and restaurant. Steps to incline to bring you to immersive ride and walkways. Very helpful staff.
Unfortunately, our stay at the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview was disappointing, especially considering how expensive the hotel is.
The parking situation was unnecessarily complicated, with inconvenient access that made arriving and leaving frustrating. The restaurant was also extremely expensive. We were told it is operated by a third party, but as a hotel guest, the overall experience still reflects on the hotel.
The room itself did not meet the standard I would expect from a Hyatt Regency. The shampoo container was completely empty, there was someone else's hair still hanging from the shower drain cover, and the coffee machine was not functioning properly. Room service and attention to detail were also poor.
When a hotel charges premium rates, guests reasonably expect excellent cleanliness, properly functioning amenities, convenient service, and attention to basic details. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect the price we paid.
Based on our stay, I would not recommend this hotel, particularly given the high cost and the level of service and cleanliness we experienced.
Beautiful updated hotel with great views of the falls and walking distance to everything.
Super friendly and helpful Valet staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and nice pool area.
Elevators on 12th floor not working. Only one side elevator for all higher floors. Spoke to Manager Justin, zero help. Unacceptable for the price we paid for two nights at a higher end hotel. The rest of the stay was ok...but not what we have experienced at other Hyatt stays elsewhere.
Perfect location to the Falls and short bus ride or 20 minute walk to Clifton Hill. Room and hotel were very clean and staff was very courteous and responsive to needs. Valet is expensive so better off self parking but overall couldn't have asked for a better stay.
We really enjoyed it. Perfect place for Niagara Falls vacation and we were treated well. It's newly remodeled and nicely appointed. It's in a great location with an incline down to Table Rock. We walked to the falls boat tour in like 25 minutes. Breakfast was really nice and we had a great view. The elevators weren't nearly as bad as indicated in earlier reviews and everything else was great. Enjoyed the pool as well.
Hyatt was first class but they charged us an upgrade fee that was quite expensive and we were not informed at the time. At check in they offered an upgrade to a suite because someone had cancelled their reservation. The view of the falls was breath taking and the room was beautiful. They could have left a couple of water bottles for free but there was a price of $3 if you weren’t a member of their club. The suite ended up costing more than $600 a night!
We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls and had a genuinely upsetting check-in experience. The front desk agent who checked us in was indifferent from the start. When we got to our assigned room, it was still occupied by the previous guest — luggage strewn about, beds unmade, and dirty underwear left on the bathroom sink. This isn’t a minor housekeeping delay; it’s a serious lapse that should never happen.
When we went back down to complain, the response was underwhelming: a discount on parking and a so-called “upgrade” that amounted to a higher floor and an extra bed — not exactly compensation that matched the shock of walking into a stranger’s dirty room.
To make matters worse, staff tried to make an issue out of our service animal, citing a “no pets” policy — despite the fact that service animals are protected and the situation had nothing to do with our stay being at fault. It felt like an attempt to deflect from their own error rather than take accountability.
Overall, a disappointing stay from a brand I expected much more from. Management needs to seriously review their check-in and room-turnover procedures, along with staff training on service animal accommodations.
The Hyatt is a bautiful hotel, we were offered an upgrade to the 38th floor which had an awesome view of the falls. The room was very clean and staff were great, helped us book a wine tasting tour and had information for all of the possible activities.
Amazing hotel with a view , pay the extra for the falls view worth it.
Everything was perfect ! The extra touches explains the cost/value for this property , we will return
Beautiful, high-end hotel in the heart of everything. We upgraded to a top floor suite. It was spendy, but it was special. View was spectacular!! The fireworks are actually below you when they go off!
Staff is numerous and all are very friendly and helpful.
Location is right above con railway which allows access to many sites.
We were incredibly lucky to get upgraded from the Wyndham Fallsview to the Hyatt Regency, and honestly, it was the best upgrade ever! Everything about our stay felt like a blessing, from the hotel upgrade to the amazing room and the beautiful views.
Our room was on the 33rd floor with an incredible view of Niagara Falls. I had requested a falls view if one was available, and the concierge was so helpful in making it happen. The room, bathroom, and beds were all spotless and comfortable. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better upgrade!
The hotel staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived. From opening the main entrance door for us to helping us get situated in the elevators, everyone was welcoming, attentive, and professional. It made us feel well taken care of and safe throughout our stay.
We also stumbled upon STK Steakhouse, which was such a pleasant surprise. It’s right in front of the Falls, so you can enjoy an amazing dinner with a stunning view. Honestly, you don’t need to pay extra just for the illumination—you can have a beautiful dinner while enjoying the Falls right in front of you! We originally had a reservation somewhere else but didn’t make it, and somehow everything worked out perfectly.
And to top it all off, we had an amazing breakfast with yet another stunning view.
From the unexpected hotel upgrade, to the incredible 33rd-floor Falls view, to discovering STK and ending with a beautiful breakfast—it all felt meant to be. My birthday weekend was an absolute blast, and our stay at the Hyatt Regency made it even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! 💙🌊✨
