Good Location
Pros:

This is a newly acquired Hyatt Property and as Hyatt loyalists we were excited for our stay. The location is perfect, situated just above the Tablerock Center with easy access to all the attractions. The renovated rooms are exceptionally nice, clean and modern. Elevator wait times were at times excessive, especially since several floors are still in renovations and the hotel was no where near capacity during our stay. Wifi was weak and would spontaneously kick us off, which will also be an issue once capacity increases. The pool and hot tub area is spacious, well kept and very nice. The gym was small for a hotel this size but was clean and the equipment is in good shape.
We booked a Fallsview Room with a suite upgrade and purchased an additional upgrade which was NOT worth the additional cost. The "sell" for the upgrade is the fireworks viewing. Fireworks are every night during the summer from 10:00pm to 10:05pm, not a second longer and the fireworks are still a distance away and nothing special.
Breakfast in the restaurant has a great view of the falls but if you want to sit there you have to ask..........almost insist, even when there are open tables. Wait staff are warm and friendly but the service was slow. Food was tasty and as most hotel restaurants overpriced. We receive complimentary breakfast due to loyalty status, otherwise we would have gone elsewhere.
All that said, if we ever return to Niagra Falls, I'd likely stay here again since they are the only Hyatt in the area and the location is really great. We enjoyed our visit to the area.

Also like to add, the marketing photo of the hotel is deceptive. My photo is from an upgraded room and while the view is remarkable it is not as the advertising photo suggests.

Great view and service. Avoid restaurant
Pros:

Room was great, view great, service great. Avoid the restaurant. I am a globalist and stay at over 20 odd hotels in a year. We returned the OJ as it was way too sweet. Any other restaurant would have taken it off the bill. No replacement and no waiver!

Good hotel overall but cheaper options for a similiar experience
Pros:

Good hotel overall, price was higher end of reasonable. Starbucks right in lobby. Busy atmosphere in lobby. Location is pretty good, 15-20min walk to Falls, very close to Fallsview Casino resort. Room & hallways were very clean & well appointed. AC fan a bit too loud & didn't cool quite well enough even when set to a low temp at night. Duvet did not breathe well causing night sweats. Mini fridge is quite big, can fit a lot in it. Too many staff overservicing in lobby, telling u which way to walk & which elevator to use constantly, seemed completely unnecessary.

Parking on site is $70/night which seemed excessive, they also have off-site parking lot with a shuttle bus to take u there for $35/night which ends up being about $45 incl taxes & fees, also too high. We ended up parking at the skylon tower lot B for $20/night - 10 min walk from hotel.

If I had realized the Wyndham Grand Hotel was formerly the 4 points Sheraton I would've stayed there instead. Similiar location & perfectly nice hotel but significantly cheaper cost for the same nights.

Best views in town
Pros:

Hyatt Regency Niagara is located just above the falls with a marvellous views of the Niagara falls. The closest airports in Canada are either Toronto or Hamilton and it's a 2-hour train ride from Toronto. The hotel is new and modern with 42 floors, the lobby area is a little crowded as the is also a Starbucks and a TGI Friday's on the lobby level. The hotel restaurant is on the 9th floor with panoramic views over the falls. On the 9th floor is also the indoor pool, an arcade and the guest laundry. The gym is on the 10th floor overlooking the pool area. The rooms are well planned and the suites has a nice social area with a sofa. The rooms facing the falls has great views over the falls and the river so make sure you book a room facing the right direction. Definitely one of the best hotels in Niagara.

A poor replacement to Embassy Suites
Pros:

Having stayed there, I now understand why this hotel is no longer an Embassy Suites; whilst the views are spectacular, the restaurant is a huge disappointment; it is overpriced & is extremely slow in its service (I cannot fault the wait staff in any way - they were excellent!). The "suites" are also not up to Embassy Suites' standards.

Not Happy
Pros:

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely views and we splurged on it in order to provide our granddaughter with a graduation gift. I could have left excellent reviews if we had not encountered what I will describe next: 1. We had a beautiful 2-room suite with a gorgeous view. This suite had 1 coffee maker in the front room with the Falls vista and as I am an early riser, I called and requested a second coffee maker to be put in the second bedroom so that I did not interrupt the sleep of those in the front room. I was told that Guest Services would check into whether or not this was doable but they were doubtful that a second machine would be possible. I then requested that if another coffee maker was not possible could we have additional coffee pods to support all 3 of us coffee drinkers. Upon returning to our room from our daily excursions, we did not see a second coffee maker as requested but we did find that a bag of coffee pods and cream had been left on the counter next to the original coffee maker in the front room. We accepted this situation and from then on, I just tip-toed into the room on my early wakeup time and tried not to wake up the front room sleeper. The real problem reared up upon check-out when I saw an additional Hyatt line-item charge on my credit card with no explanation. Upon calling the Hyatt, I was informed that I was charged for taking (stealing) the coffee maker. I find this alleged crime I am committed of to be outrageous. First of all, we DID NOT, nor ever would we, steal a coffee maker from the Hyatt or from anyone for that matter. Secondly, as mentioned above, we never received a second coffee maker to the room; or if we did, it was not in plain site because we never saw one. And, to top it off, there was no explanation of any kind to this charge on my credit card. I found the unsubstantiated, erroneous charge for myself and then had to dig in to find out why. Upon my inquiry with the Hyatt, I was given the customer service officer’s number but was only brought to a voice mail box where I left messages describing this situation. I have not heard back as to any restoration of this situation. This claim not only sounds like an egregious accusation for Hyatt to make against me but it also has the markings of a scam.
2. As per servicing the room, we did not receive service on our second full day of stay. Other than the bag of coffee pods brought to the room, our room was not refreshed or serviced. The beds were not made, the toweling was not refreshed, etc.

My to go hotel in Niagara Falls.
Pros:

Great hotel with some amazing views of the Canadian and the American Falls. Try to get a room located on a high floor with views of both falls. Great staff that anticipate to every need. Expensive parking, but it's to be expected as some hotels even charge more.
Some areas such as the indoor pool and the poolside terrace- lack the feeling of a pool located at a 5 star hotel and need to have some updates to be more luxurious. The bathrobes that we have ordered for our room - while nice and soft - are made of polyester and they make you feel very hot after wearing them for 5 minutes. I would suggest to the hotel management to go back to 100% cotton. The walls of the rooms are barren and need some artwork - I understand that the hotel is still transitioning from one of the Hilton brands, so maybe this will be done later.
Also - I could use some reading lights beside the bed - as there was none.
Overall the suite was very clean with a lovely marble bathroom. I would suggest adding a make up mirror. Beautiful lobby and other public areas. Did not have the breakfast, so Can't comment on that. The location of this hotel couldn't have been any better. I will be back!

Pay for the falls view - you won't regret it!
Pros:

We arrived in our rental car and the valet immediately could tell we were new. So they directed us to some sort of staging area right in front of the hotel while we went in to check-in at no charge / for up to 15 minutes. There we were presented with three parking options: $100 a day for valet, $70 for on-site self parking, or $35 for off-site self parking (and tax on top of that). Off-site self parking is about 0.6 miles / 1 km away and there is a shuttle bus that seem to run all the time (but as this Hyatt belongs to the Fallsview Group, the shuttle also services other area hotels.) One day it rained really hard, and the shuttle driver said upon a returning to the lot, to wait and have the headlights on and they will pick us up right there, rather than the bus stop near the front. One morning no driver/shuttle was available, so one of the valets took me alone in their vans because I was waiting for over 10 minutes. The lot itself had cameras but was otherwise unmanned except for the shuttles waiting. Everyone from valet, to front desk, to cleaning crew was super nice and friendly but the property itself was still doing some remodeling even though they officially (re-)opened as Hyatt Regency in April 2026 (from Embassy Suites by Hilton). (One valet told me that business has picked up from 30 guests per night before the changeover to over 400 but that could be related to all World Cup viewing parties going on at the time.) Getting one of the Niagara Falls Pass is highly recommended as the hotel is across the street from the Falls Incline Railway, which will take you down to Table Rock in just over a minute (otherwise it is a 20 minute walk around the casino next door). But you have to jaywalk as the ramp leading to it from the back of the hotel is permanently closed due to structural problems they said (the one seen in older YT videos with all the love locks). The only dining option we tried was STK, and we were able to charge that to the room. There is a Starbucks, TGIF restaurant, and their own restaurant on-premise. We did not try the room service. I was able to visit the indoor pool on the 9th floor - it was about 3 feet deep, or 0.9 meters deep, with two heated/jetted spas also 3 feet deep. There is a sun deck / tanning area just outside of the pool but only one of the doors to it worked. It wrapped around and had a city view. The laundry room is next to the pool, also on the 9th floor. Also on the 9th floor (besides STK) was the arcade, which accepted US and Canadian money. The 10th floor has the 24/7 gym (overlooking the pool) and it was mostly LifeCycle equipment with a digital weight scale you could use for luggage, Elkay water refill station, fresh cold towels in refrigerator, and fresh towels but no free disposable earbuds. We had a corner suite with a falls view, which they promptly upsold to us for additional nightly fee of $100. It was well worth it as we did not have to go outside to get views of the falls, or the nightly summertime fireworks at 10PM. The room was well-appointed with Rowenta garment steamer, rather than traditional anvil-shaped ones. There was Nespresso Vertuo machine and reasonably sized refrigerator (not filled with upsell /overpriced drinks) . The room came with two water bottles but you could call for more if you were Hyatt Discoverist or higher. You could also call for microwave delivered at no additional charge. The sofa in the living room also had a fold-away bed. The internal arrangement of the hotel was a bit unusual in terms of the elevators. I counted at least seven guest elevators, but only 5 served all 42 floors, and the two dedicated to shorter subset. The one we used primarily served floors 9 to 18, and had a "naked" look to it as two sides were exposed. You could see "inside" the cabling / counter-weight and the outer frame of the elevator from STK. It was also the deepest / largest capacity but sometimes it saw the most demand, so I would push the call button for it, and other main 5 (which are not linked to it) to see which one got there first. There were not finish remodeling all the rooms when we went, as we could see floor 10 was undergoing major carpet renovation and I saw deliveries of their large glass walls for the bathroom. Our suite even had marble arch from walkway in and marble (or marble looking) baseboards. There were several North American NEMA 5-15 power plugs with built in USB-C _and_ USB-A ports, running at least 25W. The biggest negative was the curtains. One sheer curtain on the left-side was outright missing. They were not powered - they were hand-drawn - at this room price?? (At least there central air conditioning, not split system or even tacky through-the-wall.) But there was no central control panel for the lights, nor for the curtains. Our room did not have a tub - the gold-accented shower had both an overhead and wand head. The pressure could have been a bit stronger. The amenities were provided by Pharmacopia brand just like in all other Hyatt Regency hotels we have stayed at. There is no balcony, and all but one of the windows were completely shut - the one that could be opened was small and opened by one-handle scissor lever. Being as it is new , a definite can't-go-wrong choice.

Good location
Pros:

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Fallsview. The location to the incline railway was very good. Although the footbridge was closed. We walked on the street and it was a 2 minute walk out the front door to the incline railway entrance.
We bought the parks premium pass so the incline railway, WEGO bus service, and park events were all included.

Sad experience for my daughter and I
Pros:

Customer service is terrible - not pleasant at all … I felt I was racially profiled … I was not good enough to be treated like any other privileged white person.
I came there for the Weekend with my daughter for a dance competition . So many employees and not one person offered to help with luggage or direction.
Hyatt only cared about was the parking fees which was ridiculous. $35 off site $70 for parking $100 for valet .. I guess if I took valet so would be treated differently.
I am by myself with my 14 year daughter helping with luggage and the car attendant explaining to me I need to hurry up … I said give me a second - after my daughter went out to grab the remaining items from the car .. the attendant spoke with my daughter demanding the keys 🔑 because has to have it .. she is a child .. you speak with me .. don’t intimidate my daughter .
Finally checked out of the Hyatt on the Sunday the front desk was rude didn’t offer me my bill or explaining my bill will be sent to me just rude no eye contact .. clearly to black for there establishment (never again ) .. I get charged for 4 night of parking I was only there May 1st May 3rd. The car attendees marked that I had 2 vehicles. Help me make sense .. I called right away spoke with front desk and refunded me the difference .. fine … now paying waiting for deposit to be returned on my card … attitude they rush you off the phone .. other peers that stayed at that hotel received there deposit right away within 25hours
I have been asking for help .. they transfer you over and over to Lindsey , to Angela ,to someone else .. they want your money don’t want to help .. make you feel to go back there again .
I guess I’m not white enough for HYATT !!
Sad
Great example for my daughter .. can’t trust anyone
They are FAKE !!!
Customer service has totally changed … maybe dealing with Ai is a better option
