Die Zimmer waren mit Blick auf Skyline angeschrieben und auch so gebucht. Die sieht man ganz klein hinter den Hafenkränen. Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang waren sehr reserviert und unfreundlich. Man hatte nicht mal die Zeit zu grüssen, weil man ins Handy schauen musste. Die Dame im Frühstücksraum stand nur da, anstatt aufzufüllen und beim Auschecken hat man uns nur angeschaut. Als ich Rechnung haben wollte, machte die Dame das widerwillig und als ich sie gefragt habe, ob sie nicht wissen will, wie mein Aufenthalt war, fragte sie kurz: und wie war der? Hier hat man eindeutig ein grösseres Problem mit Kundenfreundlichkeit.

Location is perfect. The hotel is really clean and the staff is super helpful and friendly. It was our first time in this hotel but not the last. I highly recommend it!

Air wasn’t working in room we were in and they seemed to know it. They moved us to a smaller room that was dirty and phone didn’t work for us to even call front desk.
The cleanliness
Breakfast and over cleanliness and location of the hotel. The property is well decorated and very safe to stay.
SHUTTLE SERVICE TO EWR AIRPORT IS ERRATIC IN SCHEDULE
Stayed here in part due to the EWR airport shuttle. My friends arrived earlier with shuttle and had no problem.
I waited 1.5 hours, after a 14 hour trip, for a shuttle that never ever arrived. Call after call after call to the hotel went unanswered. Finally my friends who were at the hotel went down to the desk to ask about the shuttle where the answer was “don’t know”.
I ended up taking another hotel chain’s shuttle bus, then walked with my bags to the Hampton. When I arrived at the hotel, the shuttle bus was parked and unused.
While things happen, a simple communication with the guest would solve unnecessary issues like this. If the shuttle is broken, you have the ability to advise your reserved guests of the possibility there will not be a shuttle.
The lack of a shuttle, complicated with the inability of the property to answer the telephone, the “don’t care” attitude, and the annoyance of not being able to chat with a live person - versus an endless loop of the same questions from AI, was needless to say a very poor first impression.
The room itself was Ok, it was pretty quiet for an airport-area hotel. The bartender was great and friendly.
I spent decades owning 2 franchised hotels, so I appreciate the difficulty of the business, but indifference and lack of communication aren’t acceptable. If I had known the shuttle was broken, or the driver was MIA, or whatever, I could have simply made other arrangements.
All this for $300-ish. There are several other hotels in the
immediate area which might serve you better. I really appreciate the Marriott driver that volunteered to take me to
their nearby hotel from where I walked to the Hampton.
Dining choices are somewhat limited without a vehicle: there is a surprisingly good Ruby Tuesday as well as IHOP almost next door. There is also an outlet mall which can be walked to not as conveniently but doable

יש שאטל חינמי שיוצא כל חצי לשדה. מאד נח. חדרים גדולים ונעימים ומזגן מצויין. לא מלון 5 כוכבים אבל עונה על הצרכים
