InterContinental Cleveland by IHG

Very convenient to Cleveland Clinic. A walkway connects the hotel to most of the medical facilities. The room was very clean an nice. Very large bathroom with tub and walk-in shower. Very nice restaurant (actually there are 2), but we only ate a Table 45. Food was good. Nice to have a convenient lounge/restaurant. Would stay here again if we have to go the Clinic again. We have never had a bad experience at any Intercontinental Hotel. They are some of some of the best, in our opinion, not cheap, but generally excellent.

The Intercontinental on Carnegie is the most comfortable and convenient way for us to visit Cleveland Clinic. Since September 2025, we have made several medical trips from Michigan. We have learned to rely on the hotel's consistently high quality services.

Location, cleanliness, staff, room are all wonderful. The only thing I would advice is to update the electronic plug ins in the room and smart tvs.

Wonderful experience . The staff and everyone is pleasant and very helpful. They were well prepared and ready for our arrival. Other Intercontinental locations should take notice of how well this hotel is run.

Perfect stay while visiting Cleveland Clinic. It’s so nice to be able to go back and forth to the room between doctors appointments, testing and procedures. 10/10.

Ideal location for all of medical appointments.

If you are lucky enough to see a physician at the Cleveland Clinic, you definitely want to stay in this hotel. We have stayed here for the last 5 consecutive year and are satisfied every year. The staff is so polite and helpful and is only surpassed by the convenience to the Clinic. High recommend a stay.

Wonderful stay and so convenient to Cleveland Clinic via connected walkway. Also loved the Intercontinental's restaurant - great food and great wine - especially at Happy Hour.

Excellent hotel- beautiful, clean, and perfectly suited for visits to the Cleveland Clinic. The hotel restaurants are upscale and accommodating for every need or want. The Skyway makes access to the clinic campus easy and the support from staff at both the hotel and the medical facilities is superb. A special shout-out to Lucja in the North Coast Cafe for going above and beyond to ensure we were well cared for during our stay. Highly recommend The Intercontinental Hotel on the Cleveland Clinic Campus.

Very good buffet breakfast and lunch. Dinner is always good. The other two IHG properties are less than stellar in comparison. The service is exceptional and the staff are wonderful. They go out of their way to be accommodating.

Predictably issue free stay. Perfect location for CC. Reasonably priced food.

We came to visit in Cleveland for the first time and had a great time. The concierge was super helpful in getting us a reservation. The hotel was comfortable and the amenities were great.

$400+ and this was by far the WORST experience we have ever had at a hotel. When we walked in it felt and smelled like a dirty hospital. Understand that this is next to the hospital, which is great for those that need it, but there were 5 wheelchairs parked inside the front door in the lobby and the hallways were literally lined with wheelchairs. Horribly depressing atmosphere! I wish they would disclose this in their hotel description.

The staff was friendly. Guessing the gal at the front desk may have been new, as she seemed confused just verifying our reservation. We had been driving all day, and she did offer us a "lake view" room, so we thought that was great...until our view ended up being a parking lot. It was late and we had had a long day so didn't mention it.

The room was beyond filthy. Long black hair everywhere! Again, it was late and we were too tired to even think about asking for a room change. Pretty sure from what we had seen so far, another room would not have been any better. There was also a hose with a sprayer attached to the side of the toilet by the flusher handle (wish we had gotten a picture). It was disgusting and had to be moved to flush the stool.

Not a great ending to our vacation.

Had a procedure at Cleveland Clinic. We stayed here last year for a similar visit. We enjoyed it then and returned. The Rooms are comfortable and the ENTIRE Staff is Tremendously Supportive. The TV could be an improved experience with a more informative guide menu. And a Microwave in the Room for leftovers would be a nice feature. The In Room Dining experience is Stellar!! We’ll be back next year.

Beds are amazingly comfortable, and the rooms are light and airy.
There is even an iron and ironing board in the rooms, and plenty of storage/hanging space.

We recently stayed at the InterContinental Cleveland on Carnegie Avenue during a visit to the Cleveland Clinic, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The hospitality from every staff member was exceptional—honestly on par with a five-star resort. Everyone we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely focused on making our stay as comfortable as possible.

We requested a room on a higher floor and were accommodated on the 10th floor, where it was wonderfully quiet. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was clean had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is the enclosed skywalk that connects directly to the Cleveland Clinic, so we never had to walk outside. Which was during a major air alert due to wildfires from Canada. Being able to walk indoors to our appointment made our visit so much easier and less stressful.

We ate at several of the hotel's restaurants. At Table 45, the truffle fries were outstanding. The butter chicken wasn't my favorite, but that's simply a matter of personal taste. We also ordered room service, and the burger, fries, turkey club, and pizza all arrived hot and were very good.

Breakfast at North Coast Café was included with our stay. The buffet offered an excellent variety of choices, and the made-to-order omelet station was spotless with plenty of fresh ingredients. The restaurant host and staff (at both restaurants) were outstanding and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. My only criticism was that the hot buffet items were lukewarm to cool, and the scrambled eggs were quite soupy. I've experienced this at many hotel breakfast buffets, so it wasn't a major surprise.

If you're visiting the Cleveland Clinic, I highly recommend the InterContinental Cleveland. The combination of outstanding hospitality, comfortable accommodations, great amenities, and the convenience of the skywalk made what could have been a stressful medical trip a much more pleasant experience.
