something very wrong here
Pros:

came for room size, quite large,and location outside wall was the draw.

Cons:

couldn't leave fast enough, something very wrong around area of room 218; ac was pumping in toxic sewage fumes all night, woke up with major headache. Smell was awful. Next door neighbor also had same complaint.
Addionally the ac was lousy, room very hot. not up to standards for non Europeas who are used to real ac.
reported to hotel staff, but they could care less, not even an apology.
Hotel in no way is 4 stars, hallways unkept, dated, furniture in dining area with torn upholstery, carpet in room with many stains, seemed dirty.

Pros:

Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Ausgezeichnete Lage nahe am Stadtzentrum. Sehr ruhiges und geräumiges Zimmer.

Cons:

Ich hätte gerne ein Zimmer im oberen Stockwerk bevorzugt. War leider nicht möglich.

Idéal pour découvrir Avignon (notamment quand on vient en train)
Pros:

Le rapport qualité/prix, pour une chambre de ce standing, à la mi-mai, est excellent !
La chambre est particulièrement spacieuse et très fonctionnelle, avec de nombreux rangements (ce qui devient rare et mérite donc d'être souligné). La présence d'un frigo et d'une bouilloire sont appréciables. Tant les parties communes que la chambre étaient impeccablement tenues.

Le petit-déjeuner est très satisfaisant, avec en particulier de la charcuterie de toute première qualité.

Le jardin intérieur est agréable. Nous n'avons pas utilisé la piscine ni la salle de sports (il y a déjà tant à faire en ville…)

L'emplacement est parfait, à proximité immédiate d'une part de la vieille ville et d'autre part de la gare ferroviaire (Avignon centre) et d'un arrêt du bus n°5 (pour rendre à Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, à ne pas manquer). D'autant plus que l'hôtel demeure très calme (pas de bruits de circulation perçus, bien que notre chambre ait donné sur les remparts).
De nombreux restaurants (de tous styles et standings) sont accessibles à pied.

Tout le personnel rencontré était sérieux et d'une grande amabilité.

Cons:

L'organisation du service du petit-déjeuner pourrait être optimisée afin qu'il n'y ait pas de goulots d'étranglements (ex. : gestion des tasses et des tables) lors des pics de fréquentation.

Un radiateur sèche-serviettes dans la SdB apporterait peut-être un plus (en hiver, là ce n'était pas nécessaire).

Die Lage ist perfekt. Man ist gleich in der Stadt. Das Parkhaus ist öffentlich, kostet 18€ am Tag. Achtung: zu hohe Autos könnten ein Problem bekommen, da es ziemlich niedrig ist.
Die Mitarbeiter sind alle freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Das Frühstück könnte tatsächlich etwas mehr bieten. Ein paar Früchte wären zum Joghurt noch ganz nett.
