Courtyard by Marriott Danbury

Everyone was nice and friendly and it was clean.

The atmosphere was amazing, the hotel was clean and the staff was great, especially Silvia. She took care of my best friend and I and helped us with all our accommodations. All while being hospitable, offering snacks and water. She was fabulous. Thank you!

We were checked in by Silvia who went above and beyond to make us feel at home . I am an Ambassador Marriott status and have traveled the world. I would say without hesitation that partnering with Silvia on our stay was one of the best experiences we have ever had. If all employees had her people skill set Marriott would raise the bar on customer satisfaction on the road . Thank you for all you did Silvia !

Great location and consistent with Courtyard Marriott high standards. Our room was immaculate, and the hotel was the wedding couples’ choice for their guests. The hotel had a little restaurant in the lobby for late night Buffalo wings and pizza, ans well ans, early morning coffee and breakfast treats. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing ! I have never been to a hotel where everyone smiles and was so friendly . The front desks guys were so welcoming. Special thanks to Sylvia who worked on my booking and made sure we were all on the same floor and had adjoining rooms . Thank you to everyone at The Courtyards Danbury . I will stay here again . 👍🏻😊

Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Shower was nice. Only problem was height of toilet, which was very short. We asked about the handicap accessible rooms and were told toilet height is the same in every room; therefore we didn't bother requesting room change. Not sure what the toilet height requirement is for ADA compliance.

Silvia welcomed us warmly and quickly got us our room key. She gave us cold water and yummy fresh baked cookies. The refurbished areas all over the hotel were spot on color wise and comfort wise. The rooms are always immaculate with lots of space and a great bathroom layout. I would suggest more USB ports for all the gadgets we now need to power: phones, tablets, hearing aids, watch chargers, toothbrushes etc etc etc. You can never have enough

The great:
Service, rooms are new clean and quiet, no blinking lights in the bedroom, great Vietnamese restaurant with High end bar across the parking lot.
Shower strong and bed comfortable. Full closet, luggage racks, vanity. Wish they had make-up mirrors and better soaps but over all would stay there again
Also they have cookies.

Excellent accommodations: attractive, clean, quality sheets & towels, and perfect shower.. Reception personnel, Sherlie & colleague, were very pleasant & helpful. My only knock isthe cost which seemed much too excessive ...and the 15% room tax didn't ease the pain.. Likely won't return.

Pretty good experience on a Saturday night despite a loud wedding party and girls basketball team in the building. Being relegated to a handicap room in the dog section was not really our cup of tea, especially since there was a barking dog with separation anxiety across the hall.

The shower ended up being one of the best ever because there were two nozzles that turned the experience into a car wash. And, when I discussed the issues with the front desk manager, he gave us breakfast on the house. That was a very nice gesture, and the food there was delicious. Too bad the woman in charge made everyone nervous.

The housekeeping team was amazing 👏 very helpful rooms were clean

The hotel itself was very good, clean, and comfortable, and overall we had a pleasant stay. However, our experience at breakfast completely ruined the mood in the morning.

One of the older breakfast staff members behaved in a very aggressive, rude, and disrespectful manner toward guests. We politely asked her three times to calm down and relax, but her attitude remained hostile and unprofessional.

We honestly did not expect to receive such treatment in an otherwise nice hotel. Hospitality and respectful communication with guests should be a basic standard, especially during breakfast when people are starting their day.

We hope management pays attention to this situation and improves staff behavior in the future.

Stay was great wonderful professional service at checking in and checkout. Front desk person FAU was friendly & pleasant.
