Excellent hotel. Brilliant location with a great promenade which is good for a lovely walk and there is a fantastic variety of restaurants and shops in both directions. . Really helpful and polite polite staff. Rooms are really spacious and cleanliness throughout is great. Would highly recommend and will certainly return. Weather great, sunny with a lovely breeze. Breakfast had everything you could want.
!Our stay at the Princesa Yaiza resort was absolutely amazing! The cleanliness was easily 5-star, and the customer experience was exceptional from start to finish. The food was delicious with so many great options, and the kids absolutely loved it. The duplex room with the sea view was amazing, and there was fantastic entertainment and a show every night for the kids. We couldn't have asked for a better family holiday!
Excellent hotel, heated pools, great food and staff! Rooms very big with great views from the balcony! Would definately stay again,
Nice hotel and stay but rooms, especially bathrooms need updating. Sofas a bit faded and generally the room is quite tired. Lovely big comfy bed and nice and clean. We had a lot of noise from people above and next door rearranging furniture late at night and early in the morning, the mind boggles as to what they were actually doing!
Breakfast was a bit disappointing, UHT milk with your coffee in a morning was awful and have you ever seen back bacon cooked in a deep fat fryer!!
Pool service was hit and miss, pool a bit tired in parts and sunbeds weren’t the greatest of comfort!
Might seem like i’m being picky but having stayed in lots of 5* hotels around the world I was expecting a 5* luxury to be the bees knees and it just wasn’t!
Are there better hotels in Playa Blanca, I don’t know, I have stayed in few and haven’t found one yet!
If you have kids then it’s great for you, there were loads of kids and it’s not even school holidays yet! There were kids playing football in the hotel reception and lounge which I was quite surprised at.
Would I go back, depends if I can find better but doubt it in Playa Blanca!
Absolutely superb hotel, staff at EVERY level attentive, helpful and extremely friendly and efficient. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future.
Recently returned from a 10 day stay at the Princess Yaiza with my wife and our 3 young children - bed & breakfast.
The hotel is excellent quality, very big, lots of space, food is very good, large and well kept swimming pools, well organised and very friendly staff who are available 24/7.
Deserving of special mention is the kids club. It is located next door to the hotel (2 minute walk) with its own designated space with specific areas for certain age groups (0-2, 3-5, 6-9 & 10-12) although siblings of differing age groups can be together. The entire area is very good quality and really well kept to a high standard and is very secure. There is also a big pool area so parents can relax whilst the kids are playing and making friends and having fun. The kids club staff are superb and brilliant with the children - always in good spirits and keeping the kids entertained with different activities. These guys also do the mini disco and entertainment in the evenings (do they ever get time off?)
Overall we had an excellent holiday and the children were very upset when it was time to leave!
We are just back from our second stay in the Princesa Yaiza and again It didn't disappoint. The hotel is perfect for families - our kids loved the kids club activities, pools and mini disco. The staff in the kids club are brilliant with children, friendly and genuinely enjoy their work.
Breakfast buffet was always well stocked with fresh food and had everything you could want. The guest experience rep we met was very friendly and helpful.
It's a lovely hotel with great service, spacious rooms, loads of pools and a pleasure to stay in with children.
We look forward to returning!
This hotel has everything, it's staff are so friendly, the place is super clean. The food quality is very good. The overall atmosphere was second to none. I have to say it has been the best family holiday we've been on to date.
You do have to ask for gluten free options especially at the breakfast buffet. And the coffee at breakfast ws not nice.
But overall when we usually go on holiday we tend to spend alot of the time away from our accommodation. This hotel was so good that we spent most of the time here.
I also can't forget to mention how good the staff were. So friendly and eager.
We are already planning our next stay here.
We absolutely loved Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort. Our first impression was spectacular, the hotel has a fantastic appearance which is continued in the high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Our reception was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond for us particularly the guest relations desk who secured a wheelchair friendly pool reservation for us.
My sister is in a wheelchair and it was lovely to be in a place that was completely accessible. The spa was accessible and the treatments were amazing. The food was incredible, so fresh and delicious.
The sangria was the best we’ve ever had! Highly recommend this hotel and we will be back!
Our fifth visit was as good as always, even the special touches like the freebies, and birthday bunting and fresh cream cake in the fridge, simple but effective memories, We had two issues that were resolved immediately the safe had been left open but in locked position minutes later maintenance resolved it, secondly water was very slow to drain from shower, again maintenance in before we left room to remedy it. Excellent service, food, cleanliness, great nights sleep. I will add that there did appear to be many children at the hotel this time, even in the relaxing pool, unsure if the family section under the tunnel was open but we experienced many more children than normal the hotel is pushing for a family experience which is fine but for those looking for relaxing breaks be warned it was noisier than previous so may not suit everyone, sunbed wars has also hit, towels laid out pre breakfast and not occupied until late morning when sun comes out, never experienced this at the hotel before but we had a great holiday and already booked for December.
Our stay in Princesa Yaiza was once again excellent, the hotel, from the gardens to the pool, to foyer, to our rooms, food.... etc. etc. I could go on and on and on... was simply fantastic..... however these are Inanimate 'things' ... becasue what makes this hotel so special are its staff... sounds simple but its not... because they all work so very hard to fullfil your every need THEY are what makes Princesa Yaiza the best... 'trust me' because from my own family experience "a friend in need is a friend indeed" is the proof that the staff I speak of are our friends...... Thank you to all the staff for taking care of us.
Excellent hotel for service, cleanliness & location. Cocktail bar closed in June, opens in July making an extra choice for a drinks area at the hotel.
Also the good at breakfast was very apropiate, fruits, perhaps your gluten free bread was not very proper… said glúten free but a lot of aditivos and conservations that are not good for heath in my particular point of view
A solid 4.5 star rating from us. Two adults and two kids, we shared two suites for ten nights. The suites were fantastic, really spacious, comfortable beds, loads of storage, nice balconies and bathrooms, could not fault them. The pools were excellent, big, warm, not too crowded. Having a regular pool where ball sports are allowed and then a second salt water pool where balls, inflatables etc are not allowed is ideal. We stayed in the main hotel which I would strongly recommend. There is another area, more for very young families, that feels a bit dislocated from the hotel, glad we didn't choose that option. Breakfast was excellent, not crowded or rushed, loads of choice, very good. Food at the pool bar was nice if a little on the expensive side. They should open this bar/restaurant for longer. It only opens from noon to 4pm, I would open it until 6pm as the other little kiosk selling drinks and ice creams is a little small and slow to get service at.
We went B&B as we prefer to eat in local restaurants at night. Ate in the Italian at the hotel one night however and it was good. Nice outdoor seating area, some live music in the bandstand and the food was good. Worth a visit for certain.
The bars in the hotel are very very quiet, you really need to leave the resort to get a bit of atmosphere. They need to address that a bit. The piano bar in the lobby is fine as is, suits older quests. The bar downstairs is dead, needs work. I would move the kids club entertainment to the otherside of the hotel where young families are typically located and use the theatre space for good live music to boost the bar area and provide a more lively option for quests on site.
Staff were excellent throughout the stay.
Overall one of the best resort hotels we have stayed in as a family and we would gladly return some day.
Lovely locations and lots of things for children
Buffet was more expensive than the à la carte.
This hotel is amazing. Chaima on reception is a model professional, guest experience staff amazing too!
