I checked in today 11/6/2026 .Before driving down here from Baton Rouge I specifically asked if I got there at 2pm could I do an early check-in.. he responded yes. I get here around 1:50pm 11/06/20261:50pm. The teller was very rude and also tried to charge me $25 for checking in 10minutes before 2pm. By the time I would’ve gotten my luggage it would’ve been well after 2pm. When I asked for the supervisor he rudely said (She’s not here but I’ll go ahead and do it) very unprofessional and as much as I stay at comfort inn hotels that is the worse treatment I’ve ever received.. really disappointed and hesitant about staying tonight . I will be taking this complaint further. And I will email this statement to myself just in case it somehow gets lost

Musty, unaccommodating, ratchet hotel
Pros:

The hotel was in a good location. The room was spacious.

Cons:

Honestly the whole experience in every aspect was quite poor. The maids had not cleaned the room until right before 3 pm when we checked in, so early check in was not even possible. The room was musty, humid, and damp. The carpet was disgusting and torn up in places. The air flow was terrible, it was stagnant. It smelled like mold in there. Don't drink the water in the lobby, it tastes terrible. They stopped allowing people to grab breakfast items before the designated end time. We were there before it should have been over, staring at the food in the clear cabinets, and the lady would not let us grab anything, even though breakfast was not over. Also, the elevator broke. Elderly people with walkers had to take the stairs. It was a sad sight to see. Also, the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke and weed. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Will never be back.

We’re glad we didn’t have to stay in the room other than to sleep.
Pros:

The pillows and shower and shower products were nice. Size of the mini fridge was very nice. Front desk people were very nice, just limited by poor management policies.

Cons:

The breakfast was awful, the waffle batter tasted old and funky and the waffle iron didn’t cook them all the way. The eggs were powdered and gritty, the hash browns were steamed and soggy. The bathroom only allowed one person at a time and was very cramped. The bed was very hard and the sheets were scratchy. When we asked for more towels we had to bring them the old towels, and then one day they didn’t even have any new ones dry.
