Sleep Inn & Suites Metairie - New Orleans West

Hotel has seen better days. Staff is friendly though.

The beds were not very comfortable and there was no way to plug the tub to take a bath, only a shower. Breakfast was decent and our room was clean, and the front desk was very nice and helpful when needed.

I was checked in to room 406, that was filled with roaches and no working Ac. I was moved to room 305 where we experienced tv issues. The breakfast wasn’t fully stocked the entire time: On every night we had issues with elevator being shut down for rebooting. Upon checking out I spoke with the manager of the property and was informed of upcoming renovations. I have stayed at this property on numerous occasions and never had this type of experience. I plan to give it one more shot after speaking with the manager about upcoming improvements.

Little parking spaces, we have 4 kids and 2 adults and we got 3 towels and 1 wash cloth. Went to ask for more was told laundry wasn't in until later this morning. Room had a mildew smell even after spraying air freshener. Breakfast wasn't good. Tub had rust stains. Carpet was nasty had to keep our shoes on. Couch bed mattress was stained with blood. Wasn't worth the price we paid. I've paid less for better. Sink water barely came out. When my husband and the boys tried to get their room. She told him there wasn't anything available. Like how when i room was booked hours prior. The pictures of the room aren't what we saw. The computer and printer are outdated. I was in 105

* assigned a room with somebody else in, no us.
* bath tub was dirty
* the only couch was dirty with steins

NOT RECONMED TO NOBODY, TOTAL LOSS

This property was surprisingly dirt and outdated. The 1st room that I was assigned to smelt like wet carpet. I walked in and left out immediately. The young man at the front desk was very nice and did what he could to accomodate me by giving me another room. The blinds were broken, the mini fridge was rusty and nasty and they didn't even have decent pillows on the bed. The walls were so thin that thought that the guest in the next room were traveling with me. This was the most uncomfortable hotel that I have ever had to stay in. Not to mention that the free breakfast had stale breads, powder eggs, and waffle maker was broken.. Do not waste a single penny booking at this establishment.

Room was.not ip to.par. the fridge had food in it.

They served the same meat for breakfast each morning. If you got downstairs a half an hour late, the second meat was gone.the toaster only cooked one side

Liked that they served free hot food for breakfast. Bed could use a new mattress.

Not good

When we check in the front desk was great ( a young man) then the overnight lady was very unpleasant and rude. The next morning there was another young lady at the front desk who was rude as well.

Found some long hairs and yellow stains on bed .

Price was right and the location is easily accessible. Bed slept like a rock and there were some very interesting smells inside? The staff was great!

My stay was mediocre. The check-in was smooth sailing. The girl at the desk was nice. The room was horrible. It reminded me of a low grade Motel 6 room. People all in the stairway. One girl was rolling marijuana.. our hall smelled like a hair salon or someone burning hair with a flat iron. The bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were short, not like regular pillows and uncomfortable .. the stay all in all was bad. The back door to the hotel was left open allowing anyone to just walk in so we didn’t feel safe. All night the people next door to my room kept dropping something heavy so all night I heard “boom” every 5 min. I do not recommend this place. It’s run down and really only good for the young teeny boppers. If you plan to travel with kids or a family do not stay here!

The room was clean and comfortable. Easy check-in. Neither the washer or dryer were working in the guest laundry, so I couldn't wash our clothes. The coffee pot didn't work properly in the room, and the one in the lobby was broken. And I saw a couple of roaches in our room

This used to be a descent place to stay 7 to 10 years ago. They need some serious upgrades. It’s time to renovate. Dirty dirty dirty. Was not comfortable at sleep in

Pleasant staff and stay

The noise was horrible the whole weekend and no one did anything about it, even after there were numerous complaints. The front desk clerk turned off the elevator because there were so many children playing inside of it. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any sleep. I will never stay here again.

Smoke detector broken and not installed in room. Door handle to entry door came off when exiting. TV in room didn’t work. Only 1 bar of soap left in bathroom.
