A Decent Holiday Inn Stay

Very happy with our stay.
Pros:

Nice, clean facility in a convenient location. Spacious room with a comfortable bed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and appreciated the complimentary breakfast.

It was a perfect location for what I was looking for, which was a few days away in the Berkshire’s
Pros:

The location was perfect, the breakfast was fine. Nothing spectacular but enough to fill the void. The beds were very comfortable.

The carpets in the hallways were very old and dirty looking

Cons:

Bathroom needs repairs (room 338.) Faucet handles were loose; sink drained very slowly. Had to run shower for eight minutes before getting hot water.

Great helpful staff clean room
Pros:

Arriving late, we were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff, who were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. The service was warm and thoughtful, and the room was clean with fresh, comfortable bedding. It was such a relief and gave us great comfort, especially after we had to leave the inn across the road because of the terribly dirty bed.

We Shall Return!
Pros:

This hotel was great! Our 2 young adult children and my husband and I stayed in 2 rooms here for 4 days while we were attending several Tanglewood concerts. First of all, this seems to be one of the few (only?) hotels in the area that doesn't allow pets. I'm severely allergic to cats and many dogs, so I am so grateful I didn't have to worry about there being pet dander or smell in our room. Staff at the front desk, at breakfast (Rosie!), and housekeeping were friendly and professional. The rooms were clean (and modern - 3rd floor), had great lighting options, plenty of desk and counter space, a comfy bed with good pillow options, and a bathroom with a great shower, good lighting, and plenty of sink space. Also, right at check-in, we were handed a paper with hours for breakfast, pool, etc. and the options for room cleaning, so everyone knows right from the start what to expect. There was signage with information at the elevator, too. And the heated pool was just the right temperature and delightful! We shall return to this hotel!

Surprisingly good!!
Pros:

I will admit I was hesitant going to this HI due to some of the reviews. I had been to the one in Norwich CT and it was truamatizing ! In fact I begged my husband to change the reservation. I will admit it, I was wrong. This was a very nice HI and I have no complaints. It was clean and the breakfast is good. Even the elevator and front doors did not have fingerprints!! Our room was spacious and pleasant. I often am hesitant to go to these hotels because they are a franchise and some had been used in the past 5 years not as hotels but for long term housing. This was not. I will be back.

Very comfortable and great location easy access to many attractions.
Pros:

good choice of breakfast options especailly liked the omellettes. Coffee was good too.

Cons:

Some confusion with credit card when upon checking in and latter in billing process but all seems worked out
