Sleep in your car instead. Bad service, unsafe building, filthy room, broken toilet seat.

Stayed March 12, 2026. The lack of care at this hotel is astonishing. Booked a family suite as I thought the most expensive room in the place would be the best. Was wrong.

Hotel side door has no lock, as the entire mechanism was ripped off the door. In front of that door in the parking lot was a broken-down four-wheeler and a bag of trash. Loose trash was all over the area- including drug paraphernalia. Going inside the broken door you would find filthy carpet with a suspicious stain all down the stairs.

Inside our room there was trash and someone’s old food on top of the coat closet. The bathroom was disgusting. Both the sink and the tub fixtures were leaking the mold and bacteria growth that accumulated prove that sink and tub had not been even wiped out in a long time. The toilet seat was cracked in half leaving a sharp edge for your bum.

A long drive left us too tired to complain that night, but in the morning at checkout I showed the photos and asked to just have the $50 pet fee removed in consideration of the state of the room. A pet fee should cover extra cleaning, but as they don’t clean anyway it was not right for them to charge it. The woman at the counter agreed to credit our card the $50 fee. She did not. I emailed a week later to remind them and got no response.

Worse hotel experience ever. We travel a lot as a couple. The room was horribly out dated, worn and some cases out right broken. We reserved a room with a fireplace and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi didn't work, asked to switch rooms and the jacuzzi, the tv and the fireplace all did not work. Not to mention clean. oh no.... also around 1230pm someone tried to break in our room!!!!! Can you imagine?!!!.. the door would not lock all the way... it was insane and totally wrecked what was supposed to be a fun weekend it totally ruined our weekend. We wanted to leave in the middle of the night. But it was already paid for. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The front desk person was rude, lazy, and unprofessional. No sense of urgency at all.

Clean. Friendly staff. Quiet room. Ok breakfast. Easy access to parking lots.
A bit older and could use some renovation but functional. Good price.

Security door lock broken on none lobby door. Mentioned to morning clerk and he denied door key entry was broken. Talked to a person who was staying there for a month and he said door was that way for a month. Needs to be fixed for safety of customers.

Everything was good. Clean room, quiet, friendly staff. Breakfast was as expected. Have stayed here several times, each time, no problems

This was the most unclean, unsafe environment I've ever been subjected to. The pictures are not an accurate reflection. We had to find alternate lodging for the 2nd night.

Only 2 big towels in a family suite and one of them was dirty. One of the tv’s didn’t work and the couch was completely broken. Older hotel, staff was very nice.

Property is very rundown. The Lobby ceiling is filthy. Paint is peeling all over the exterior. No elevator. Mediocre bed. Ceiling sprinklers in room are rusty. Furniture is damaged. One of the bathroom lights was burnt out. No safe in room. Weeds 3’ high along the building along with an empty pallet discarded in the front shrubbery bed. In need of many more power points. This makes me suspect the “reviews” on your app are fictitious. All this for $185! Such a deal.

We tried to cancel our reservation and was told we would be charged $125 to cancel our reservation.
Having to work thru Expedia is terrible. We should be able to work directly with Boarders.
We will never stay at a Borders Inn!

Very run down and tired

Property showing stated side the interior entry was covered in cigarette butts for 20 feet around the whole entrance lady and man run in the front desk for real nice with breakfast and the rest of it really show it’s age. Also had people sleeping on the couches at 6 o’clock in the morning Would not recommend us going forward.

The room was comfortable, and the continental breakfast was nice, but we really appreciated the kindness and pleasant attitude of the woman at the desk!

The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Staff was very nice.

The carpets were dirty. The outside was dirty. We were given keys but the room was unlocked already prior to opening the room. Not overly impressed.
