Great experience! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. It was a quick stay and the front desk staff helped us check in and out easily with our phones.
Great location, staff and base for the Sonoma wine country and downtown shopping.
One of my travel favorites when going to the wine country. Fun organized activities at the hotel nightly. And of course wine tastings.
Location makes this a great gateway to wine country. It’s close enough to the major airports yet only a short walk to two of our favorite restaurants, Spinsters Sisters and Grossman’s Deli.
The staff can also help plan a wine tasting itinerary, Nadier was very insightful and recommended a “winery partner” Ledson that we particularly enjoyed. Thanks!
Came here to celebrate our anniversary and attended a concert at the nearby Graton Casino. Stay at an upgraded suite as Globalist and my friend who came also got upgraded to a courtyard upgraded room using our Guest of Honour award. Had a fabulous time and staff were friendly and courteous. Will come again
DO NOT stay here. This is not a Hyatt Regency caliber hotel. More like a Hampton Inn, and that's with apologies to the Hampton Inn line. The lobby is unimpressive. The elevator smelled, the hallways were dark and dingy. The carpets were dirty. The room smelled like marijuana, the furniture was discolored and damaged. The bathroom was one of the worse I've seen, and I stay at hotels 200+ nights a year (flight attendant). We left and found other accommodations. To add insult to injury they continued to charge me for parking even though we had left, which caused another 20 minutes loss while I called to get reimbursed.
Pool & spa
Dirty carpet in the stairwell
It was clean and everyone was helpful
That it was expensive
We love coming here every year. The location is great and you can walk to restaurants, shops, and more.
The staff is very welcoming and makes sure everything is right. The rooms are clean and they have very large TV screens that you can cast to.
Well, it's not a horrible disgusting hotel. I was shocked at the hotel manager's response on not copping. Anything not willing to do anything. We are a loyal member of Hyatt. And we've stayed out plenty and we booked this just to get away before I have a massive surgery. It was Valentine's Day weekend asked if they could do anything romantic, no. Response, that's okay. Our room was not ready. We needed a king bed. We got a Queen next to a crying baby. Which is not the baby's fault all night? Somebody hacking their lungs out people running up-and-down very noisy. The street was noisy. We didn't get our complimentary breakfast. Bar that we were supposed to get that I asked for or to use our points and this manager chose to not comp us on anything. And I would not advise anybody staying there..
Unfortunately, we experienced a significant number of ants in the bathroom during our stay, which impacted our comfort. The hotel staff was responsive when we reported the issue and offered compensation. We appreciate their effort to address the situation, though it did affect the overall experience.
Went here on a random weekend and happened to come to a fully booked weekend. Didn't get upgrade to a suite as a Globalist. Ended up with a 2 queen room with pool view which I thought was underwhelming. The hotel is a walking distance from a mall but the mall is also underwhelming. It was nice to experience the culture of this city but most likely won't make my way all the way here unless there's a reason to.
Hyatt Regency Sonoma/Santa Rosa is a convenient place to stay for a trip to the wine country. Plenty of local restaurant & brewery choices and you’re within a short driving distance to several wineries/vineyards. The price point is perfect for the area.
Great location for our needs. Amenities adequate for our mixed work and leisure needs.
Stayed here after visiting Schulz Museum. Convenient location and wonderful customer service. We walked around a bit to look for the Snoopy Statues. A little sketchy near the railroad. Dinner at charming Ca Bianca.
We had to take care of urgent matters at a federal office nearby and made to unfortunate decision to stay here .
The rate was much higher than quoted on the phone. We were tired after driving and just paid through the nose like fools. Several baby cockroaches were seen on the third floor room: one in the toilet area and two in the main bedroom. My uncle paid with his credit card and there was fraud on it two days later for a Louis Vitton purse.
Do not stay here!!
Beautiful property in a perfect location; walk to restaurants, easy freeway access, shopping, etc. Very walkable area. Comfortable rooms, with a good variety. Love the decor, the comfortable lobby with a fire and fire pits outside, gardens and pool. Nice bar and delicious breakfast. Very friendly people.
