A $35 daily fee is assessed to all reservations for destination amenities including complimentary morning coffee in the lobby, infused water in lobby throughout day, 2 water bottles daily upon request, wi-fi access, bicycles and helmets, games in the Sonoma Courtyard, outdoor heated pool and fitness center, complimentary wine tastings on Friday evenings and discounts to our wine partners. Franchise property — not representative of Hyatt Regency standards.
This hotel appears to be third-party managed, and it shows. Service breakdowns, lack of professionalism, and cleanliness issues were evident. Staff handled concerns poorly, including arguing with guests rather than resolving issues. Additionally, a daily fee was charged for “amenities” that was not clearly disclosed. This property does not align with the Hyatt Regency experience.

Beautiful hotel but not for everyone
Pros:

This is a beautiful hotel but not family, nor elderly friendly. It is in the wine country so if you are not in to wines, not the place to stay.
Customer service does not seem keen to support families. Focus is only adults in to wines. We visited Santa Rosa as we are big Snoopy and Charlie Brown fans and this hotel is only 10 minutes away.
Rooms are pretty small and in-room amenities are below par for a Hyatt Regency

Beautiful Hotel with Friendly Staff
Pros:

My family and I went to Santa Rosa to visit Safari West. I stayed at the Hyatt and I wish I had more time there to enjoy the pool and visit the wineries. It is a beautiful hotel and it is within walking distance to downtown as well, where there is shopping and great restaurants.
The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Excellent Services and Great Hospitality

We stayed at Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country during the last weekend of March and had a truly enjoyable experience.

From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The team’s hospitality and attentiveness made our stay both comfortable and memorable.
We would especially like to thank the front desk team for their kindness and support during check-in.

The welcome drink was a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated. They also went above and beyond to help us apply a Hyatt gift card that we had held onto for nearly 10 years. It wasn’t a simple process, but they handled everything with patience and care, making it seamless for us.

It’s these genuine touches that made our stay special. We are very grateful for the excellent service and would be happy to return in the future.

Great Experience!
Pros:

Great experience! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. It was a quick stay and the front desk staff helped us check in and out easily with our phones.
