Franchise property — not representative of Hyatt Regency standards.
This hotel appears to be third-party managed, and it shows. Service breakdowns, lack of professionalism, and cleanliness issues were evident. Staff handled concerns poorly, including arguing with guests rather than resolving issues. Additionally, a daily fee was charged for “amenities” that was not clearly disclosed. This property does not align with the Hyatt Regency experience.
This is a beautiful hotel but not family, nor elderly friendly. It is in the wine country so if you are not in to wines, not the place to stay.
Customer service does not seem keen to support families. Focus is only adults in to wines. We visited Santa Rosa as we are big Snoopy and Charlie Brown fans and this hotel is only 10 minutes away.
Rooms are pretty small and in-room amenities are below par for a Hyatt Regency
My family and I went to Santa Rosa to visit Safari West. I stayed at the Hyatt and I wish I had more time there to enjoy the pool and visit the wineries. It is a beautiful hotel and it is within walking distance to downtown as well, where there is shopping and great restaurants.
The staff was friendly and very helpful.
Staff was very helpful at check in, security very nice.
My dog gets to stay with me
It’s worth for what you are paying for, the room is much larger, and the bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean, and the hotel directory is very clear.
We stayed at Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country during the last weekend of March and had a truly enjoyable experience.
From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The team’s hospitality and attentiveness made our stay both comfortable and memorable.
We would especially like to thank the front desk team for their kindness and support during check-in.
The welcome drink was a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated. They also went above and beyond to help us apply a Hyatt gift card that we had held onto for nearly 10 years. It wasn’t a simple process, but they handled everything with patience and care, making it seamless for us.
It’s these genuine touches that made our stay special. We are very grateful for the excellent service and would be happy to return in the future.
Great hotel and great location. Close to great dining and a superb jump off point for wine tasting.
bed uncomfortable , shower ok at best and noisy HVAC systems waking you up in middle of night and door slam very loudly for early risers
Everything
Great experience! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. It was a quick stay and the front desk staff helped us check in and out easily with our phones.
Great location, staff and base for the Sonoma wine country and downtown shopping.
One of my travel favorites when going to the wine country. Fun organized activities at the hotel nightly. And of course wine tastings.
Location makes this a great gateway to wine country. It’s close enough to the major airports yet only a short walk to two of our favorite restaurants, Spinsters Sisters and Grossman’s Deli.
The staff can also help plan a wine tasting itinerary, Nadier was very insightful and recommended a “winery partner” Ledson that we particularly enjoyed. Thanks!
Came here to celebrate our anniversary and attended a concert at the nearby Graton Casino. Stay at an upgraded suite as Globalist and my friend who came also got upgraded to a courtyard upgraded room using our Guest of Honour award. Had a fabulous time and staff were friendly and courteous. Will come again
DO NOT stay here. This is not a Hyatt Regency caliber hotel. More like a Hampton Inn, and that's with apologies to the Hampton Inn line. The lobby is unimpressive. The elevator smelled, the hallways were dark and dingy. The carpets were dirty. The room smelled like marijuana, the furniture was discolored and damaged. The bathroom was one of the worse I've seen, and I stay at hotels 200+ nights a year (flight attendant). We left and found other accommodations. To add insult to injury they continued to charge me for parking even though we had left, which caused another 20 minutes loss while I called to get reimbursed.
