The hotel was clean and tidy. The pool was excellent. The breakfast even better. Small town Boy entertainment was decent too. I'd return in the future I'm pretty sure.
Absolutely stunningly beautiful hotel with superior facilities
I loved everything
Stunning location and the property is equally stunning! Spacious, very well maintained, clean and beautifully decorated throughout! Couldn’t fault it!
Nothing
The food was very nice.
There was quite often a break down in communication due to language barrier.
Lovely location, the spa was really nice.
I had asked before our stay whether we could be put in a room with air conditioning as it was meant to be 32 degrees and I am 34 weeks pregnant. I was told this wasn’t possible (unsure why) put they could provide a fan.
We asked again when we arrived and were told no, we were happy to pay extra for an upgrade for this. The room was unbelievably hot, it felt like they had underfloor heating in the bathroom which didn’t help. The fan made no difference. Wouldn’t recommend in the heat, not that accommodating.
Lovely property, amazing views and wildlife in the area and the hotel has a lot to offer. With different activities, restaurants and theatre.
The staff felt quite hostile as if we weren't respected there, like we were both intruding almost. I'd expect to be taken care of and it was the opposite, had to ask for everything, where things are, just general information you'd expect to be told.
A perfect break away and Heythrop Park ticked all the Boxes !
Great Location , Spa Facilties just what we needed in this hot weather !
Nothing to dislike.
The decor and quality of the venues and furnishings were exceptional. It was a wonderful calming and relaxing environment.
The pool could have been cooler, the could have had more beds around the pool and better refreshments near the pool to have a cool drink out by the hot tubs
The pool.
Beautiful grounds and amazing food. Very friendly and welcoming staff
The spa, the staff in spa very friendly
Cancelled our breakfast booking without telling us. So had to eat somewhere else even though we booked and didn’t communicate this with us.
Reception staff were not very helpful to my husband when our key card didn’t work, could have just said sorry I’ll sort it but nothing, just a little bit rude when you have paid a premium. Spa and restaurant staff where pleasant
Swimming pool and jacuzzi
Breakfast wasn’t the best . Bar was very expensive.
The accomodation was impressive visually and the hotel rooms were outstanding. Lovely views and very polite staff at reception and elsewhere. Rooms were very tidy and impressive size wise. Pool and sauna area was lovely and felt new and well maintained, very relaxing. Theatre was impressive for the world cup game but the seating isn't all at an angle so if someone tall sits in front of you....good bye view.
The staff in the Market kirchen Orangery where the buffet was served were very clearly under staffed and seemed unhappy and stressed. Didn't see a smile from any of them. Took a while to get things we ordered in the dinner and breakfast and they as a team looked completely overwhelmed by the number of guests. We felt bad for them. The food in the morning was no better then premier inn, borderline boiled bacon, overcooked tomatoes glutenous sausages ....in 2026. Was told when I asked about gluten free bread to the man managing the buffet in a white apron "Ask your waiter " as he walked to the kitchen.... hilarious.
Lovely grounds and great cinema room to watch the football
Expected there to be more people my age but most guests where much older
