Would definitely stay again.

Overall my least favorite hotel stay since I started travel in retirement in 2014.
Pros:

The hotel breakfast was average. Room was comfortable.

Cons:

The property called shortly after booking to say no pool or spa and asked if I would like to cancel. No big deal. They did not say the elevator was out of order. the ice machine was out of order on 2 of 4 floors ours being one of them. I needed an extra blanket but the room phone was out of order, and in the room the lamp between the beds was constant flashing and obviously shorting out. When I mentioned the problems with the front desk person she could only say that she was not the maintinance person. At check out the front desk person had to point out the $2 charge for the safe that you could refuse. If he had not pointed to the sign it would have been added.

Great location with clean rooms and friendly helpful staff.
Pros:

There was a nice breakfast selection to choose from. The hot food was indeed fresh and hot. There was always a cheerful employee cleaning and restocking the breakfast area. I found the room to be very clean and comfortable. All my interactions with staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The only minor cleaning issue in the room was the bathroom ceiling fan. It was so covered in dust.

Beds were comfortable
Pros:

It was nice to have breakfast. The pool and jacuzzi was extremely relaxing. It was so convenient to have the RiverWalk levee available for my morning runs.

Cons:

The elevator was out of order
The drapes were not well hung and one was torn

Rattling pipes required two room changes for theee night stay. Staff did not help with any room change.

I always stay here when I visit family in Fortuna and love it
