Didn’t want to leave. Ever!
Pros:

In The center of the historic part of Niagara on the Lake, walk to shops and restaurants, parks, and lake. Hotel, amazing, elegant, was above and beyond expectations to make your stay special. Short drive to many wine tastings.

Beautiful...until we needed a bit of plunge and I don't mean the pool😬
Pros:

Perfect location, lovely antiques, super comfy bed. We loved the espresso machine and real cups and glasses, the rose at turn-down time. The shampoo conditioner etc. were lovely and lush. The hair dryer very new age and the light-up make-up mirror awesome. The jacuzzi tub wonderful. The fireplace a romantic touch on a rainy night. Unfortunately we had a toilet back up late at night (1:30 a.m.) and they had zero plungers on hand. The gentleman at the front desk went to look, but then never told us he couldn't locate one. We stayed awake for an hour waiting for one to be brought to the room. Eventually my husband had to go back down to the front desk where the fellow said "Oh yes, I couldn't find one -I left a note for maintenance to bring one up first thing". It never dawned on him to tell us that😑. All night we couldn't use the toilet. Popping in and out of the shower worked for one situation but was not convenient. We both needed to be able to "flush", so it was an uncomfortable last night. There was a plunger brought up at 7. However, it was unbelievable to us that a hotel of that size and caliber did not have an easy accessible plunger.
Beyond that, all was lovely 😍

The hotel and staff were lovely. But the comfort level in the room was definitely lacking. Can use some updates.
Pros:

Great Location, was a nice hotel and the staff was quite lovely.

Cons:

Couldn’t control the heat in the room got quite hot and uncomfortable especially at night. The bed could definitely use an update, the squeaking of the bed frame getting in and out was extremely loud. Clearly there’s an issue with the bed frame that needs to be addressed.

Beautiful hotel and experience, I will be back.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. The fresh flowers in the lobby every day, rose on the pillow for turn down service and oranges in the room at check in was a special touch.

Cons:

The cleanliness in the room could have been better. Some stains on the wall and the bed skirt had splatter food stains.
