Everything was really clean!
I asked online for an early check in and was approved at $40. I got there the lady had no idea what I was talking about and wasn’t prepared. I told her never mind I will just go to the beach and check in later at normal time. I checked in and went to the “heated pool” this pool was one of the coldest I have ever been in and the “hot tub” wasn’t even warm. The smell of weed smelled up the entire pool area and the hallway to my room. This was supposed to be a fun get away to make my family feel better that my cancer has come back and we didn’t get what we expected from a $277 a night hotel.
The hotel was in a great location and the pool was fabulous. Unfortunately, the employees at the front desk were not as helpful as the rest of the employees. The clerks at the front desk spent much of their time hiding behind the partition rather than being out front. When we arrived, there was a sign saying they were busy helping other guests, and then popped out from the partition. When we called down to request a luggage rack, we were told they would try to find one, but nothing happened. When I came in from the pool to get a refill of water, I was asked what I was looking for, and when I stated water, I was asked for my room number before they would help me. As we were leaving for the day, we asked at the desk once again for a luggage rack and were told the built-in shelf was for luggage; we had to explain there were two of us and it only fit one suitcase. (All of the other hotels we stayed at had a luggage rack in the closet.) They finally said they would find one and put it in our room. Every time we walked past the front desk, no one was there. They were rude and disrespectful.
Also, our room overlooked the pool on the 3rd floor and you could clearly hear every word people were saying.
On the other hand, the employee working breakfast did everything she could to accommodate my food allergies. When we ran into the housekeeping staff in the hallway, they asked if we needed anything, and those tending the pool did their best to keep it clean.
We stayed at 5 Hilton hotels on our road trip and this was the only one where the staff was rude.
Food was very good and plenty of options.
Maybe improve pillows.
The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect.
The bed was so uncomfortable. I remember staying at Hampton Inn before and the bed was amazing didn't want to get out of it. These beds were horrible. It was so hot in the hallways going to the room. The bathroom was not very clean. During breakfast, the milk was spoiled.
Room was not all tht clean hair in tub/ ice can was full of trash and I tld front desk and nothing was done would I stay again NO! but the breakfast was good and the stuff at breakfast was nice. 10/10 I'll give them a 7

The room didn't seem to be deeply clean. When I walked into the room, it didn't even have a clean smell to it.
The other thing I didn't like was I arrived a little after 1 pm, and check-in is 3 pm. The lady at the front desk told me that my room was ready, but in order to check in, I had to pay an extra $40.
