Hmmmm....
Pros:

The breakfast was good and the microwave and refrigerator was really nice.

Cons:

Carpet was not clean, there were crumbs under the door and in the corners of the room. There was hair on the shower walls, in the complimentary lotion, and in the bed. There was makeup on the bed sheet. The ice machine had black stuff in it. The treadmill was rusted and I almost fell while using it because the walking belt kept pausing. There was a hole under the sink, in the cabinet and it looked very suspicious.

Pros:

Coffee pot in room was amazing. Coffee pods are a lot cleaner way than a dirty pot ! 10 out of 10 for sure

Cons:

Need to raise thermostat up on your hot water heater!!! Showers were cold. Other than that it was a fantastic place to stay!!
I'm not against people smoking, because I use to smoke. But smokers need another place to stand around talking and smoking at the front door entering your lobby.

Not an enjoyable experience. Other hotels are better choice.
Pros:

Staff was friendly. Bedding was comfortable. Room accessed by keycard touch vs. insert.

Cons:

Coffee maker didn't work, TV was old (not a smart TV, lack of available channels), no lamp on desk. Carpet was dirty. Counter tops were sticky.

I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again on future trips to Southport.
Pros:

My room was all the way at the back, far from the highway, so very quiet. Bed very comfy—I took my own pillow. Sitting area good. Everything very clean, breakfast bar had a good selection. All staff I interacted with were courteous and friendly.

Cons:

Minor problem to be aware of temporarily and not in Comfort Suite’s control is the 24/7 roadwork in front, making left turns in and out of the parking lot impossible, only U-turns. But that was a minor inconvenience.
