Quiet, clean, comfortable. An affordable place to stay after a busy day of exploring Southport.
Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff, quiet room, comfortable bed. Just a nice atmosphere.

Cons:

Although it didn’t have to do directly with the hotel, this was a difficult place to get in and out of from the road, mostly due to ongoing road construction. Also, they underestimated the number of folks for breakfast on my second day and ran out about 45 minutes before breakfast ended.

Cons:

There was a huge stain on the side of the mattress & there was a black stain on the sheet on one of the beds. They ran out of breakfast.

A GOOD BITE AND A CLEAN BED--exceeded expectations.
Pros:

Very comfortable, luxurious bed & linens, saltwater pool, breakfast was fantastic, superb coffee--best of any hotel I have stayed in. Room was spotless, and the whole facility was very clean. Towels looked new and were very soft.

Cons:

Wishing there was real half & half on the room, but no real hardship, as the service in the lobby did have the real stuff.

Not bad for one night
Pros:

The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good!

Cons:

It took 18 minutes to check in at 11:30pm, the receptionist was on the phone and just ignored, and not welcoming! The room was clean, the bathroom needed to be cleaned better

Pros:

The breakfast was good and the microwave and refrigerator was really nice.

Cons:

Carpet was not clean, there were crumbs under the door and in the corners of the room. There was hair on the shower walls, in the complimentary lotion, and in the bed. There was makeup on the bed sheet. The ice machine had black stuff in it. The treadmill was rusted and I almost fell while using it because the walking belt kept pausing. There was a hole under the sink, in the cabinet and it looked very suspicious.
