Six or seven years ago, I stayed here and it was decent. Now it’s showing its age. It’s dirty, in need of paint touch ups, has dings and dents in doors, worn carpet in places, and worst of all it has a bad smell from too much room deodorizer trying to cover up something. The overly perfume heavy smell is in the lobby, halls, elevator and room.
I booked a handicap accessible room with two beds, but without alerting me (at least in any obvious way I noticed at booking), our reservation was switched to a room with one king bed. When I arrived, saw the king bed, I requested a two bed room. But the desk staff told me that handicap accessible rooms are only king rooms and there are no more two-bed rooms available. However, booking.com shows there are still two-bed rooms available for the night we were here.
The “handicap accessible room” is questionable as it has a regular tub, not a walk in shower. A tub chair is provided, but a walk in shower would make more sense than a high-sided tub that has to be stepped into.
And with this review, I’m not even waiting to see how breakfast is before submitting it. This hotel is off my list—I won’t stay here again.
Nothing to like about this property
Not a good place to bring children. Entire place smelled like marjuana. Swimming pool was closed and staff didn’t bother to let us know when we checked in. Staff were not friendly.
The staff was amazing from the time we checked in until our checkout. The entire building smelled so good, and everyone who was checking in commented about it and asked about the fragrance. The night desk clerk on friday night saw that we were burnt up from being at the Waterpark all day and offered us his fan from behind the desk so we could be cool and even let us play uno in the lobby. Many joined the lobby to visit with friends it was a great atmosphere and they staff looked proud that it was happening. Though the night clerk on Saturday was busy, she brought clean towels to the pool on Saturday with a smile. Thank you to this team.
I dont know the fragrance they are using in the hotel.
Location Great breakfast was fine. I did not use the pool. There was not enough time in our schedule however it looks fantastic.
Bathroom floor was very sticky my sample stuck to it. I assume some kind of cleaner that wasn’t rinsed well off the floor.

The ice machine was broken. There was no ice, they ran out of coffee at breakfast.
