Økologi som den perfekte undskyldning for at sænke standarden
Scandic Aalborg Øst har perfektioneret forretningsmodellen, der kaldes "greenwashing". De reklamerer stolt med at være et miljøvenligt hotel, hvilket i praksis bare betyder, at de har droppet den daglige rengøring og udskiftning af håndklæder. Genialt! Priserne er selvfølgelig forblevet på samme høje niveau, men servicestandarden er faldet, og der er højst sandsynligt sparet på stuepigernes arbejdspladser. Men vi redder jo planeten, ikke?
I receptionen får man at vide, at man bare skal sige til, hvis man ønsker rengøring. Så det gjorde jeg. Om morgenen, inden jeg tog på arbejde. Da jeg kom tilbage om aftenen, var værelset fuldstændig urørt. Det lader til, at selv rengøring på direkte anmodning er for stor en byrde for deres økologiske mission.

Vriendelijk personeel en goed ontbijt. Zelfs met verse wafel maker. Kamer zag er netjes uit maar was erg klein voor een familie kamer.
