It was a nice getaway!
Pros:

Staffs at reception and Lotus restaurant were very friendly and helpful! The yoga coach was excellent! The beach was quite clean! The sunrise/ sunset were picture perfect!

Cons:

The sea sport rental was overpriced. The ponds were filled with algae. The bedroom floor wasn't cleaned everyday. The food at the Thai restaurant was too salty.

Friendly and Attentive Team
Pros:

I would like to commend the resort staff at Homme for their excellent service. Their warm attitude and smiles make our stay very pleasant. Lin from the vacation club and Pancha from the resort were very attentive to details. We felt well taken care of throughout our visit.

A truly warm and memorable stay
Pros:

I had a truly wonderful stay at Angsana Bintan. Everything was very clean and well cared for, and I felt comfortable from the very first moment.

What made this stay truly special were the people. Every single staff member was incredibly kind, warm and genuine. I felt truly welcome and cared for throughout my stay, even while traveling alone.

A very special thank you to El and Dave at the reception, as well as Wiwik from the restaurant — your warmth, kindness and genuine care made my stay truly memorable. Being welcomed so warmly as Mrs. Susanne made me feel seen, respected and deeply appreciated.

The friendliness here feels sincere and natural, and beautifully reflects Indonesian culture. My time on Bintan was calm, joyful and deeply relaxing.

Thank you to the entire team for such a lovely experience. I would happily return.

L'accueil du personnel, la situation en bord de mer, la piscine magnifique et chaude. Le petit déjeuné très varié. Les divers restaurants.

Cons:

Les chambres sont un peu anciennes mais propre. Peu de lumière le soir dans le jardin et au bord de la piscine.

"We visited Homm Laguna Bintan with our [number] kids and had a blast. It was incredibly convenient with the free shuttle from the ferry terminal.

The kids loved the pool and the Kids' Club, which gave us parents some time to relax at the spa (highly recommend a massage!). The beach is very safe for children with gentle waves. We also appreciated that we could use the facilities at the sister resorts nearby. Special mention to Mariati, Benny & Fransisca.

The staff were amazing with the little ones, always smiling and helpful. The breakfast spread had plenty of options for picky eaters, too. If you are a family looking for a hassle-free Bintan holiday, I highly recommend booking here."

We have a great time at Bintan island but the resort facilities are very poor. We spent most of our time in Banyan tree
Pros:

Location was fabulous and the nearby Banyan tree resort facilities where amazing.

Cons:

The resort is very run down. The pool has no lighting around it at night and path is poorly lit as could be a hazard.
The bathroom is dated and shower over the bath could be dangerous for some.

Relaxing Getaway
Pros:

Location is inconvenient, nearest mall is Plaza Lagoi but only 2 Japanese restaurants open (sushi n ramen) and Mustafa to get snacks n drinks. There are some spas there but looks shady, better to do it at the resort. All other shops are not occupied. If U prefer some shopping n local food, suggest venturing to Tanjung Pinang which is about an hour away.

We had most of our meals at the resort which has other options from Cassia n Banyan Tree.

Hotel room was very nice. Our 2BR walks to the beach and had a jacuzzi. Bfast buffet spread is extensive with local n western items but taste wise is so so. Cut fruits n fruit juices are not timely replenished.

We spent most of our time at the resort just rest n relax. Enjoyed the spa treatment at 8lement Spa.

The Reception staff El and Gideon were English-speaking and take initiative to ask about our stay which was very helpful.
