Me and my wife chose Taj to unwind on the last day of our anniversary Sri Lanka trip. I had emailed previously about the occasion and was given a 2 level upgrade at Checkin to a Ocean View Club room. The bed was decorated with flowers and a complimentary cake was given which tasted delicious. Ordered Me Goreng and Caesar Salad via in room dining as we were very hungry after a long drive, both the dishes tasted great. In the evening we had a Tea based mocktail and Chamomile Tea at Lattice, both of which were very refreshing. In the morning we had a dip at the swimming pool before going to breakfast at Ports of Call restaurant. The breakfast spread was really good, had a lot of Continental and Indian options as well as local Sri Lankan food.
Overall a great experience and felt sad staying here for only one day, would surely come back here again.
Real superb hospitality.. at the coffee shop Dilhara ,Gayan, Chathura, Oshan Dileka were all sooo fabulous.. lovely stay n amazing breakfast..

I recently spent a few days at the Taj Samudra and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The property itself is beautiful with great views of the ocean, but the service really sets it apart. The staff goes out of their way to make sure everything is perfect.
I want to give a special shout out to the team members of Ports of Call resturant who made my stay so memorable:
Dilhara and Gayan were incredibly welcoming and handled everything with such professionalism.
Chathura and Oshan provided top notch service and always had a smile on their faces.
Sanjeev, Madu, and Dileka were attentive to every detail and made me feel right at home.
The breakfast spread was impressive and the rooms were kept spotless throughout my visit. If you are looking for a place in Colombo that combines luxury with genuine hospitality, this is it. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to the city.

I come here for 2 days and this hotel was very beautiful and the port’s off call restaurant team ( Dihara, chatura, ruwan madhu, idolâtre)

Actually the staff was very friendly. Never hesitated a second to help in serving. They were very mindful and aware about customer's body language so that even customers feel them their own friend. Amazing food and hospitality! The views from the ocean facing view are priceless and everything from the spa to the high tea and breakfast made our stay memorable!
Pobyt v tomto hotelu byl pro mě i mou dceru naprosto skvělým zážitkem. Od prvního momentu jsme se cítili velmi vítáni a v naprostém bezpečí, což pro mě bylo při cestování s dcerou klíčové.
Co nás nadchlo nejvíce:
Personál: Všichni, se kterými jsme se setkali, byli neuvěřitelně milí a přátelští. Ať už šlo o recepci, kde nám vždy ochotně poradili, nebo o obsluhu v restauraci, jejich úsměv a profesionalita nám každý den zpříjemňovaly pobyt.
Gastronomie: Jídlo v hotelu je vynikající.
Čistota a bezpečí: Hotel je velmi čistý, udržovaný a působí velmi bezpečným dojmem. Je to klidné místo, kde si člověk opravdu odpočine.
Recepce: Nám vyšla ochotně vstříc ve všech požadavcích.

The breakfast is good. I have been staying in your hotel for many years except for February 2026 when I had to stay in ITC Ratnadip from 1st to 10th February as there was no accomm9datoon in your hotel.
Everything more or less was good. I am loyal to Tatas.
