Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Goa

My family is big fan of hospitality of Taj, no doubt whenever we visit the hospitality is great and surpases our expectations every time but this time the service particularly in the dining area was very poor, breads ordered took more than 20 minutes to reach our table even though the area didn’t had lot of guests at that time, food ordered for infant took almost 30 minutes and reach us by the time entire dinner or lunch was over, need to ask the attendant for dessert spoon which also took more than 10 minutes to reach our table, i mean i understand the situation when the area is full of guests but when the area has few guest and service level of this standard the entire experience is pulled down. If taj is reading i would like to attend to these issues so that no other guest feel the tajness going down in this fashion. Thanks

Lovely luxury stay at Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa in October 2025. Beautiful property with stunning sea views, warm hospitality, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The service and overall experience made our stay memorable. ✨

The stay was amazing and the hospitality is a class apart! My only negative feedback would be for the breakfast. The breakfast area is too crowded and the buffet seemed very haphazard and not well manned. Probably it is because of less seating availability. Thankfully we stayed in hermitage villa so had access to the hermitage lounge where our breakfast was exclusively served and hence it was a good experience. But overall loved everything else about our stay.

It was our first holiday with our infant and we are glad we chose to stay here. Every team member here wears a smile, something very rare to come across today.
Everyone we came across anticipated our needs before we could ask for something. We moved around with a stroller and we were given a table where the stroller could be adjusted at breakfast. We went down to the beach and the security team member happily watched the stroller and our belongings till we got back. I checked if I could take the elevator down from the lobby to the coffee shop and the concierge team offered to take the stroller down for me and a housekeeping team member offered to take it back up ( though we used the elevator or all occasions it was kind for everyone to offer even though the elevator was there)
Service staff offered to get stuff to the table from the buffet and at no point did it feel forced, just engrained.
The drivers taking us to and fro from our cottage, were warm and friendly. One driver whose name I cannot recall, even took us for a property round one afternoon.
We barely ventured out of the hotel and all our meals were cooked to perfection.
A special shout out to Jean who runs a tight ship at the coffee shop and to Ankush who had a bright smile welcoming all guests even when the restaurant was crazy busy.

Right on Aguada Fort and Sinquerim beach, this we felt offered better value than other Taj properties in Goa. The sea view suites had plenty of room along with private balcony with sun loungers. Taj hospitality is good as always and this hotel was no exception. Highly recommended for staying in North Goa!

A surprise birthday weekend that was very well organised and the stay itself was enjoyable with excellent friendly staff to great facilities available to us during our stay.
A big thank you to Alisa for all her efforts in making this a memorable weekend for my wife and our family.

We had come to Taj fort aguada some 11 years ago and when this time we planned a trip to Goa we had nothing else but Taj in mind... One can feel the grandeur, the serenity, the hospitality the moment you step in...something which I call "Tajness"!!! Special mention to Mr. Nathan at the front office...from making our check-in very smooth , to creating a friendly bond with us, constantly smiling and above all making our stay very comfortable...Nathan carries with him the true spirit of "the TAJ"!!

We went for a fancy meal in the restaurant. When we arrived we were treated differently as we were not guests at the hotel. The attitude changed when we ordered an expensive meal. The service was good but there was little ambience. I can honestly say that the service at pur hotel was not only better but also had a personal touch. After our meal we visited the toilet. What a shock they were flooded, smelly and dirty. Not what you expect from a Taj hotel and a very unpleasant experience. So while this didnt completeky spoil our visit it was a disappointment and will discourage us booking to stay or returning for a meal.

Very good experience Mr.Prabhu assisted us was very polite and helpful to us very good place for our 1st anniversary to celebrate.

Full points for hospitality. From the warm welcome with goan song on guitar to serene and scenic cottage experience. We enjoyed a lot. Loved the food and ambience in all the restaurants. Special thanks for making out anniversary celebration special and enhancing our experience with a upgrade. Special mention of the availability to use the facilities at both Taj Fort as well as Taj Village. My 7 year old loved the village grounds a lot. Special thanks for allowing us to stay on the property and have lunch at the Morisco restaurant while we waited for our evening flight. Chef Amit kindly arranged the lobster for us at lunch as we missed it earlier night due to a planned event.

We spent our 10th anniversary at taj. Staff made it special with the decorations and cake. We enjoyed a lot the scenery and the food. Access to beach and evening vibes at taj holiday and sunset view, everything is superb. Our kids enjoyed a lot.

We had a lovely stay which was all the more made memorable by the ambience of the setting and facilities available , including access to the Taj holiday village.

A special mention must be made for the amazing help we got from Alisa Azavedo who was on reception.

She is a wonderful ambassador for the Taj and knows how to build a strong personal rapport with guests as well as being super efficient in her job.

Thanks also to Nausheen who was on reception at the Heritage lounge.

My wife and I celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary (a few months early) at this exceptionally beautiful resort. We were here in December 1976 for our honeymoon and could never forget that wonderful stay at The Taj Fort Aguada when we were newly married and this beautiful hotel was just about about a year old ❤️

Jessyl Fernandez, a senior staff member at the hotel, came to know about our 50th honeymoon anniversary and surprised us with a small celebration in our room with a decadent chocolate truffle cake, memorable gifts and musicians, who played celebratory music for us. That was beyond our expectations!

The natural beauty of the resort offering mesmerising views of the beach is complimented by the unmatched amazing hospitality of the staff. The staff goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and memorable . Speical thanks to Miss Nishat Laljee Mr Vivek, Mr Nathan Desouza, Miss Jean for making our stay in the resort very special and royal.
The able leadership and guidance of the GM Miss Megha has certainly taken the resort to a new level of Tajness. The positivity and vibrance of the resort and the staff really appreciable
I highly recommend Taj Aguada

I recently visited Kokum Kitchen at Taj with my family and was quite disappointed with the overall experience.

We were allotted a table without a tablecloth or mat, which immediately felt below the expected standards. More concerning was that the AC unit directly above our table was leaking water onto the table during our meal. When we raised this with the restaurant manager, Mr. Laxmikant, we were informed that it would be fixed by an engineer, but no immediate resolution or alternate seating was proactively offered.

Additionally, the area near the salad counter had water spilled on the floor. Despite informing the staff twice, it was cleaned only after nearly an hour, which posed both hygiene and safety concerns.

This level of service and responsiveness was not what we expected from a brand like Taj. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on restoring the high standards associated with the brand.

Our stay at Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa was a truly delightful experience. Even though it was a short stay, the aura of the property, the calm elegance, and the warmth of the people made it deeply memorable.

The entire team reflects the true Taj ethos—courteous, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every interaction felt seamless and thoughtful, creating an atmosphere of comfort and understated luxury.

A special mention for Ms Alisa, who was extremely helpful in making all arrangements and consistently prompt in her responses. She exemplifies Taj standards in every interaction—professional, warm, and solution-oriented. Her support played a key role in making our stay smooth and enjoyable.

Mr. Prabhu was exceptional and deserves appreciation for his gracious service and attention to detail. I would also like to thank Ms. Megha for her constant support throughout our stay—her helpfulness and calm efficiency truly stood out.

Overall, Taj Fort Aguada offers not just a beautiful property, but an experience shaped by people who genuinely care. A wonderful stay, and we look forward to returning again.

It’s a beautiful beautiful property. You fall in love with it the moment you enter. Checkin process was smooth, staff ( we interacted with a person named Nathan) were extremely courteous and helpful. The reception area has a view of sea along with elegant design and a giant ceiling fan made up of wood. We got a sea facing room along with a bacon. The room was highlight of the stay. You can enjoy the scenery of sea beach right from the room. We went there with family ( wife and 2 kids), our son did not want to come back from the place. Overall highly recommended and Thanks Taj for making our stay memorable. Hospitality is one reason we never want to switch to any other brand as Taj not only takes care but it pampers it’s cusotomer

Overall it was a great experience and the staff were very courteous. The shuttle service between Taj village and Taj Aguada was one of the convenient options.
Plan to revisit Taj Village sometime soon with family.

There are a few areas of improvement,
1. extra bed provided in the room 437 was not comfortable for the property and the prices involved
2. Hot water was not as expected and was only luke warm all the times room 437
3. Package only offers buffet and an ala carte should be considered for long stay guests
4. Sunset point is good but looks odd only when other Villa guests are offered tea/snacks and it's bit uncomfortable for all guests (guess even Villa guest will feel bit awkward)

Taj being Taj service is excellent and so are the rooms though scattered but they ensure each person is sent a car or Polo cart to reach the lounge or reception. The service is exceptional they specifically looked after me and my 83 Year old mother with such warmth and care. Special thanks to Ms.Nishat from reservation as well as Mr. Snehal the duty manager for ensuring I had great roomss and a pleasant stay. Ashvik at conceirge really helped me plan my day as I had only one day due to a medical emergency in the family. With Taj I am in best hand and thanks for making the experience a memorable one

Jessyl from Hermitage lounge really took care of us & made sure we were happy & comfortable during our stay. Jessyl also assisted us with sightseeing activities & trying new things in and around GOA. Jessyl was even kind enough to assist us with baby food during our departure, such a great gesture & thought !!

Jean as well from hermitage lounge alongside with Pragyan, Janhvi, Arcy helped us with ongoing food fests / activities in the property.

Rohit from the mixology team in Hermitage lounge made some really exciting cocktails for us each day during our stay.

Nilam at the reception assisted us with sightseeing in & around goa.

Ramnath at the SFX bar made some amazing Picante & treated us everyday with new mocktails & cocktails.

Nelson from the paper moon restaurant helped us with some great Italian food, helped us always with baby food from Kokum kitchen.

Overall a very good experience & stay.
