Conveniently located accross the street from the train station. The italian restaurant within the hotel had good pizza!
Room looked relatively old, especially the bathroom, but it was fine

The hotel personal was very kind and helpful. Furthermore, the hotel is in the middle of the city, right across from the train station. This makes it easy to find and a great basis to explore from! The price of the hotel is very fair, considering where it is located and how expensive Tampere is.
The hotel does not seem well equipped to handle a large number of guests arriving at the reception at the same time, which is surprising given the size of the hotel. I waited nearly 20 minutes to check in, even though there were only two guests ahead of me, with two staff members assisting them. I later found out that other guests who arrived after me had to wait nearly 45 minutes. The check-in process could clearly be made significantly more efficient.
Additionally, during my last night (Friday evening), the hotel became extremely noisy. There were, as far as I could tell, groups of students running around, making loud noises and knocking on other guests’ doors. I do not necessarily blame the hotel for the behaviour of individual guests, but there did not seem to be any attempt to address or stop the noise. There also appeared to be no security or staff member actively monitoring the situation or managing these disruptive guests.
Considering that Tampere is a student city and a popular destination for nightlife and drinking, I would expect the hotel to have procedures in place to deal with this type of situation, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights. While I understand that the hotel cannot control the behaviour of every guest, there should be measures in place to ensure that other guests are not significantly disturbed.

Ihmettelin tätä.
Myöhemmin selvisi, että olin maksanut sovitun hinnan jo luottokortilla sovitulla hinnalla ja hotelli tuplaveloitti täydellä hinnalla huoneen minulta uudestaan.
Raha palautettiin pari päivää myöhemmin ihmeteltyäni veloitushintaa Bookingille.
Huoneeseen päästyämme menin pesemään käsiä ja löysin edellisen asiakkaan hammastahnan hierottuna lavuaarin reunalle. Siivous on siis ollut todella kevyttä.
Huone ja sängyt perus Scandic-laatua, eli turha odottaa mitään huippusänkyä tai laatulakanoita.
Yöllä heti keskiyön jälkeen alkoi kadulla suoraan ikkunamme alla asfaltin poistoremontti ja sadevesikaivojen irti piikkaus.
Tätä prosessia kesti pari tuntia ja meteli on sen mukainen!! Nukkuminen oli mahdotonta.
Aamulla asiaa valitettuani, tarjosi respan tyttö kompensaatioksi aamupalalahjakorttia. Kerroin varaukseemme kuuluvan aamupalan. Hetken päästä hän totesi, niinpä onkin.
Respa levitteli käsiään yön metelistä ja sanoi sen olleen yllätys heillekin. Respan asiakaspalvelijan kyvyt olivat varsin aloittelijan tasolla.
