A Piece of Heaven on Earth
Pros:

The staff, first of all, were sensational. Both the front desk team with people like Mr Mithi Ray, Anshul, Farkhan and Shantana and the dining room with Mr Sharad overseeing everything and individuals like Sanya and Farheem providing outstanding service, it could not have been better. Security too was excellent with Mr Amit running a tight ship. I should mention the food in the dining room was brilliant under the talented supervision of chef de cuisine Rohit. Overall, a wonderful experience.

A Memorable and Relaxing Stay!
Pros:

We loved the stay at Taj Mahal Lucknow, which was made even more special by Ms. Vanshika. She made our day memorable by providing extra decorations, a cake and a parting gift for both of us. Overall, we were happy beyond our expectations by choosing to stay at Taj for our wedding anniversary :)

Cons:

Nothing to dislike, it was all good.

Overall, a wonderful stay and a memorable trip thanks to the staff and facilities at the Taj Mahal!
Pros:

The breakfast buffet was the highlight of each day with all of our favourite Indian treats freshly cooked and beautifully displayed. The made to order dishes from the cooking station are worth a trip back just to enjoy the fabulous food again. The service by the staff was First Class. A special recognition should be give to Faheem, who was very attentive and looked after us. Nail, Rafat, Monika and Farkash also made our stay very pleasant and provided great assistance. Kudos to the whole team for their service and professionalism.

Cons:

Trying to reach the eateries along the river edge park and the Dr Ambedkar Memorial Park was a bit tricky for us who prefer to walk as the Gomti Nagar Ext. Bypass is a bit tricky to cross with no safe pedestrian crossing. The current wing of the Hotel, which was under construction at the time was of little or no inconvenience to us.

Old colonial property with history,

Cons:

The staff seems to be learning on the job and occasionally you can be a victim of their lack of experience. The breakfast is an absolute zoo, expect to get trampled. The room is tired and not particularly luxurious. Seems like it was a great place to stay in the 90s.
