Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Eine Oase mitten in Mumbai!
Pros:

Ein ikonisches Hotel. Mehr muss man dazu eigentlich nicht sagen.
Der Service ist top. Der Innenhof für Hotelgäste mit Pool eine Oase in der Stadt.
Lediglich im Restaurant haben wir uns nicht ganz wohl gefühlt, weil wir das Gefühl hatten, im Rahmen eines Menüs zu essen benötigt zu werden, obwohl wir zum Beispiel das Dessert schon im Vorfeld abbestellt hatten. Wenn dann ein Kellner persönlich gekränkt erscheint, ist das nicht professionell. Das war aber auch der einzige Abzug. Alles andere war tipptopp, vor allem die Führung durch den ehemaligen Chef der sea view Lounge war ein Highlight!
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Und wer hier am Frühstücksbuffet etwas zu bemängeln hat, der hat möglicherweise die Extra Karte, wo man zusätzlich bestellen kann, nicht gesehen.

On the whole, the service is excellent but not exceptional. The additional bed in our room was a poor oversight. Some of the pool, Souk, and breakfast staff are not very attentive or even seem to enjoy their job. A smile goes a long way. There are, however, many exceptional staff to be commended, not least the lobby and room staff.

The food is exceptional. Additional information on buffet or set menu on each evening when on half board would be helpful. It irks somewhat also, to have to use the same cutlery for every dish. That's not a five-star service.

The room, even in the Tower 'cheap seats' was very good, despite having to ask for the additional bed to be removed.

Despite some minor irritants, our stay was very enjoyable.

Brief but incredible stay, blown away by the dedicated and caring service of the staff, outstanding cuisine, and exquisi
Pros:

Everything was exceptional and I cannot praise the incredible staff, their service, and the facilities, enough. The food was fantastic (we only ate at the buffet and the Aquarius bar, the food was great at both but the buffet in particular was incredible value and the staff worked tirelessly and patiently to bring us special orders and ensure we were happy. They were both wonderfully professional and friendly; a pleasure to talk with.

The rooms, even the smaller, more basic one we had, was spacious, extremely comfortable, perfectly clean, and equipped with everything we could need.

I cannot list everything here, but from the piano or sitar in the lobby to the service at the pool, the range of restaurants and aesthetics of the furnishings — all was of the highest standards, befitting the reputation of the Taj hotel.
